This past weekend I was driving NB on IL Rt. 47 in Elburn, IL and drove past “Main Street Road” and I struggled to wrap my head around it.

FWD NA for that price? ND.

Even if it had the 4G63 and AWD that price is a hell of a nostalgia play.

The RS4 Avant is forbidden fruit.  The R34 GT-R was forbidden fruit.  These are two vehicles that are bland and derivative economy cars that I would never consider even if they were available in NA.

Given a chance, I’ll take a window seat all day, and my family members fight over them during bookings.

They will occasionally fail on higher mileage cars. And by fail I mean that they no longer operate efficiently enough for the ECU to be satisfied and you get a CEL. For the most part, run flats are garbage. More expensive, they often wear faster, and have a harsher ride.  Also, there are scenarios where even a run flat can get shredded beyond drivability.

I don’t know what the answer is here, but it certainly is not “run flat tires for all the cars”

I’m not sure this had anything to do with the donut he was on but rather everything to do with the fact that he was driving like a complete asshat.

I don’t think this is victim blaming. Pedestrians need to pay attention as well. I work in downtown Chicago - I don’t take *any* vehicle movement for granted. Right turn, left turn, going straight, red light, green light...doesn’t matter. If there is a vehicle, I have to assume it will not stop, and if it’s a CTA bus…

Keep the left turn arrow, but during off-peak hours (i.e. not rush hour) instead of it going red, it should flash yellow to allow cars to go through when there is no oncoming traffic.  Or always keep it red when sight lines are garbage.

so how soon before bicycles are recalled because people are dying on them from lack of safety gear? it’s *very easy* to exceed the balancing limits of a bicycle (I did it just this past weekend when my front tire washed out in a left hand single track sweeper and I low sided into the dirt)
