The concern from the dealerships seems legit, but also, they’re a business - they have time to plan for what may very well be extended delays on repayment from the government.  If they plan for 90 day delays in payment, but get repaid in an average of 10-12 then they should be fine.

I suspect the details may never be released, but I am *super* curious as to what system indicators the pilot observed that prompted him to decide to punch out over a populated area after which the aircraft continued to fly straight and level.

I mean, it probably wasn’t a loss of power nor an issue with the control

This smells like one of those “it happened to one lady in a random PA town so that local police department is warning everyone nationwide...” type of things, like the whole “gangs flash their brights at people and commit violence as part of gang initiation” thing that was going around the internet for a long time.

When was the last time you rented from Hertz?  You’re lucky if they tell you where the car is parked.

My E90 has the double pull locks. The first thing people do when they pull the handle and the door doesn’t open...is pull it again.

On the flipside, I get super irritated when I’m sitting in the backset of a car that does *not* have that feature and I have to figure out how to unlock the door (assuming it doesn’t

I bet they claimed the items must have been stolen by other passengers passing through the checkpoint.

TBH, worrying about getting my stuff stolen by other passengers is why I put my phone and wallet into my carry on before it goes through the machine and always marvel at the trusting souls who put those items loose in

Full disclosure, I was one of *those* parents: I failed to confirm that my 13 year old son showered and put on deodorant before our 9 hour flight from Paris to Chicago. About 45 minutes in I kept catching whiffs of b.o. and quickly established that he thought since he showered the day before he was good to go.

For longer flights it is often easier for a disabled person (or a person with limited mobility) to sit in the isle in case they have to use the lavatory.

this is a bit, right?  it’s got to be a bit...

blink twice if you’re in need of assistance

alternatively, last summer I participated in a cross-country mountain bike race after a 22-year hiatus (my last race had been with my big 10 school’s mtb cycling team my super-senior year)...just for the shiggles.

I had so much fun in that race last summer that this summer I signed up for 6 more, 2 of them yielded top

any lawyers in the house?  hypothetically speaking, if one of these guys is riding down the sidewalk and I “accidentally” jam a short length of conduit into their front wheel, who is at fault?

ND. I have a Chicago based 2011 335i RWD sedan with the M-Sport package that has another 11ok on the odometer and zero body rust (I do have some surface rust on the steel bits of the rear subframe) and I’d be lucky to get $12k for it.

Mine loses points for having 2 paddles instead of 3 pedals, but if someone wants to

What does one do with 15 brand new untitled F-150s? Part them out? It’s not like you can sell them on the street - didn’t they just close the Vermont title loophole?

I guess I’m answering my own question, but these are going to end up in shipping containers destined for Russia, aren’t they?

maybe I’m taking the naive approach here, but it seems like two things fix this:

is there potentially a problem with gas going bad in the tank?  with a 100 mile range on a hybrid I could see myself putting gas in it every 6-9 months.

That’s a fair point, I didn’t think through the vehicle age aspect.

I know folks are throwing shade because it looks boring, and while they’re not exactly wrong, I would rock this car, in this exact color scheme, in my garage next to a NISMO Z in the exact same color scheme as a “his and hers” setup for the wife and I.  Assuming we can get both in a 6MT (which I’m not sure would be

Super excited for what looks like a spectacular buy (I will forever have a soft spot for the Z32)...but...

My wife’s friend is a young widow with 3 kids whose Pacifica is on its last legs.  An $8k 300ZX is not the answer to her problem, and I suspect that is going to be the case for 90-95% of the shoppers out there.

That all makes a lot of sense.  But then there is the part about biking places. How does that work when it’s 107?  Do eBikes make it tolerable?
