Please keep in mind too that the Rogue gets its sales figure by combining the figures for the Rogue and the Rogue Sport, which elsewhere goes by the name of Qasqai.  I’m not sure if Rogue would still be in third place if the Qasqai numbers weren’t combined with it.  That would be like combining the numbers of the

But there’s no arguing this looks better in every possible way. It looks like a cross between a Volvo and a Jeep Compass, which are not bad models to lift from. A solid value that also looks good seems like a hopeful first step for Nissan.

Why is GM the only company to do this?  What is the reason for doing it?  It is completely infuriating.

GM already has my wrath for the convenience feature of SHINING THE GODDAMNED REVERSE LAMP AS “EXIT” LIGHTING, so when you’re in a parking garage looking for a space and see reverse lights, YOU NOW HAVE TO LOOK TO SEE IF THERE’S EVEN SOMEONE IN THE BLOODY DRIVER’S SEAT

This is hilarious because when I was rolling up to the rental counter last week with a mid-size reservation, the attendant gave me the choice of Rogue or Outlander.

I meant to say they’re largely FWD in Europe, but forgot that part.  US ones are RWD.

Nissan is going with the orange-bulb-in-a-clear-space method of turn signals from all appearances, so they’re safe from your wrath. It’s a pretty common way of handling it, because designers don’t like orange but people typically like orange signals.

Or, like multiple people I know, you end up with a loaded Rogue because your Acura RDX or Lexus RX350 was really expensive. Amazing, though, that anybody would come out of an Acura or Lexus and think a Nissan felt nice.

I am still waiting for the japanese brands to catch up to GM and have automatic headlights that come on when it gets dark. I still see dummies driving around at night with only th DRLs on.....

It’s only the 3rd best selling SUV because the price and quality are tolerable. Rogue isnt the SUV anybody wants...it’s the one you end up with when the only other option is a Mitsubishi Outlander...

Still a CVT. No bueno.

Thank you for clarifying that these were gatherings for radio enthusiasts, and not pork festivals celebrating sandwich meats.

I just think it’s hilarious that grilles are getting less mechanically necessary while growing larger and larger each year

I don’t know how many they sell globally of each layout, but it’s not available as FWD in the US.

One of my side hustles is selling at hamfests (ham radio and electronics swap meets) so I own a Ram C/V for hauling stuff. Last year, I got stuck in the muddy parking lot of the Central Florida Fairgrounds at the Orlando Hamcation hamfest.

So an AWD van is very appealing. I don’t care if it has a fancy grill and rims

Meh, it’s just an appearance package to make your Transit look more butch, for people who think having a van with an angry face will get them more respect on the jobsite than one with a normal face. It’s just a bunch of black plastic.

I’ve seen some impressive parallax on the Genesis. Check that Green Hill Zone water, it’s some amazing stuff!

That parallax scrolling on the parking lot is way too advanced. Totally broke my immersion.
