Prior to Hurricane Sandy the NYC Police Museum used to hold a vintage police car parade in lower Manhattan, with cars from quite a number of agencies being present. The museum hasn’t been open since Sandy, unfortunately, but every year they do hold an event on the bottom floor of the NY Auto Show at the Javits Center.…

I wish more departments had vintage vehicle restorations like Seattle seems to have. It would probably be beneficial for parades and community outreach.

That’s pretty fucked up. As a fan of Buicks both new and old, I hope her online funding campaign raises enough to fix that poor Lucerne. Also, if she sold those hideous rims maybe she could recoup some of the cost.
