I still abashedly [sic] love “Rollin’.” I wish I didn’t, but it’s super catchy.

As far as big rap-rock names go, I’d say Falling in Reverse has the closest to what could be called mainstream attention.

Are we about due for a re-appreciation of Nu-Metal?

Basically since Nirvana, maybe Radiohead (who abandoned rock music tellingly) there’s not really been any worthwhile rock music at all.

Huh. I’ve always loved Sevendust’s albums, but I passed on seeing them live because, in the live performances that were recorded in some fashion that I saw, Lajon Witherspoon couldn't seem to translate his singing into a live venue.

Even if Deftones were friends with and contemporaries of bands like Korn, I think they soon grew musically away from the nü-metal scene. (Adrenaline barely was part of it to begin with.) They've consistently evolved over their career and left the others behind in the dust.

Interestingly enough, Davis seems pretty embarrassed by it now, and he called it “the dumbest fucking track Korn ever did” in a 2015 interview. (He added, “That’s what drugs and alcohol will do to a motherfucker.”)

The thing about communism sounds like it was paraphrased from The Simpsons. Of course, I’m sure it wasn’t the first time that was ever said.

The Last Jedi was an actual movie and not a fan-servicey wankfest that you and your ilk so desperately want.

For me, the series has yet to top this one-take sequence from season 2, episode 19 (“The Dirty Half-Dozen”) in which Daisy goes all John Wick on a bunch of Hydra goons.

...Manganiello’s half-dragon character worships Tiamat...

I’ve always been impressed with how spot on the period-accurate filmmaking was in this sketch.

I never saw past the first Michael Bay entry, so I suppose I can’t comment on the quality of any of the sequels, but of the two I have seen, neither of them are approaching good. I went to see the animated movie in the theater for my seventh birthday, and I thought it was the best thing ever. several years later, I

Yeah, I feel pretty much the same about the Rogue Nation plane stunt, especially since Octopussy did something even more impressive over thirty years beforehand. Admittedly, the stunt doubles are pretty obvious (as is the rear projection whenever the actors’ faces need to be visible), but they are really climbing on

Right, because not respecting someone’s opinion is the exact same thing as being a Nazi propagandist. Congrats, you’ve earned your Boy Scout badge for Internet Edgelord Bullshit!

Yeah, I would say that, in many cases, apathy has been replaced by nihilism.

Some “opinions” aren’t worthy of respect.

Just an FYI. There used to be one inside of Del Amo mall. And there is one somewhere around 197th and Hawthorne Ave in Torrance...

Out of curiosity, now that SyFy has canceled both Dark Matter and The Expanse, do they have anything aside from Killjoys that is worth watching? (I tried watching Van Helsing and couldn’t get through the pilot.)
