My favorite part was earlier today when Mike Tirico claimed that the McTwist was named after McDonalds, rather than Mike McGill who invented the trick 30-something years ago.

It still doesn’t feel like it’s been so long since Shaun and Bob Burnquist collided on the halfpipe.
Early on in the snowboarding days I was lucky enough to own a Burton Free 6. One day I was out and my local resort had just built a halfpipe. I thought, hey, why not?
It reminded me of Jason Priestly’s routine on SNL a million years ago, if anyone remembers that.
Since most of the WWF shows back then aired on weekend afternoons and featured a no name wrestler versus a star, Saturday Night’s Main Event was the only time you’d get to see anything important happen. I used to check the paper every week to see when SNME would return.
When I wake up at 3am every morning from insomnia I try to name a punk band for every letter of the alphabet to get back to sleep. OpIv is always my O.
Their latest from about a year ago is pretty good too. Best since the old days, I would say.
It seemed for awhile that Manic Hispanic was opening for every punk band performing in LA. Good times.
If you’re cooking steak without kosher salt, you’re making a bad steak and I hate you.
I’m not a huge Prince fan, but he gave one of the greatest Super Bowl performances of all time. Shredding away in the rain, all I was thinking was “get through this show without getting electrocuted!”
I only watched the pilot episode when it aired because Cranston was the first actor from Malcolm in the Middle to get a new show. I loved it. But when the bathtub fell through the ceiling in episode 2 I was hooked. Oh, this is where they’re taking this show? I’m in.
The Buffalo Bills traded away a bunch of beloved players and somehow made the playoffs.
From a Bills fan who’s lived in LA for 20 years, thanks for this post. I don’t feel safe going to ballgames in LA.
I’d be willing to bet you’ve viewed at least 4500 idiot Bills fan videos from the parking lot, just here on Deadspin. The odds are in our favor, statistically speaking.
I’ve already watched every one of these videos multiple times today.
I went to an XFL game once. I only remember because I have a picture of it.
Make it affordable and safe to go to a game. I don’t want to spend $15 for a beer. I don’t want to get in a fight with an opposing fan. That’s why I don’t go to games.
The first half of this game perfectly represents the last 20 years of the Bills franchise.
I’m enjoying this.
He also gave up his closing role to make room for Chapman in the Yankees bullpen. I’d be thrilled to get him back. Classy guy. It’ll be interesting to see if he gets to go up against Chapman in the World Series.
