Doesn't this woman know that wearing a tank top (exposing arms, bad), with lettering (drawing attention to chest), and catwalking (walking to attract attention) is all immodest behavior that will cause men to stumble?

So if women would just cover up with, say, a burqa and walk modestly 3 paces behind the man, they'd stop being temptresses. Gee, where have we seen that line of thought?

This woman is ridiculous. Some places just aren't appropriate for children. I like kids, but I don't like them in my bars, my fancy restaurants, or other grown up settings.

This is all well and good, but my Kensington trackball still works better than any mouse or trackpad I've ever used.

@Seeräuber Jenny: Thanks. Can't vouch for Duofolds, but I swear by my Parker 75.

@SNEAKERS: Ouch! Well, it was before the evil vodka marketers had their way.

@DailyLattes: No, that's not my intention. Simply put, if she wants/wanted a job in the administration, there are other ways of getting your point across than publicly criticizing the President, which just makes it harder. But it sounds like she and Obama had a conversation today, so hopefully we will continue to

@Valkyrie607: I don't entirely disagree with what you're saying. I think this administration is way too jumpy and thin-skinned when faced with loud criticism from the right-wingnuts.

@mordicai: You could argue that the President is ultimately accountable, even if he's not directly responsible for all the stupid things his staff does. Whether or not that translates into a call from the Oval Office is another matter.

Yes, she was treated poorly and should not lose her job (and Vilsack should be taken out back and read the riot act, that idiot).

@lemdi: I love that one! I've actually used it with my nieces/nephews.

And let's not forget Betts':

@laterandlater: Thanks for posting. I think it's important to understand the differences in garment (and their different uses and meanings). If we're going to opine on these issues, we should at least get our terminology correct.

@RudyWaltz: Classy. The burlap says organic, sustainable, with clean lines. And it's always handy to have an extra extension cord in the office.

@PowerPuffT: I second this suggestion. It's exactly what I do with cilantro and parsley. And I don't believe having too much cilantro is possible.
