Just a heads up - I watched and quite liked Orville, and I hope you will too, but don’t go in expecting a comedy/spoof. What it felt most like was a cheesy, good natured, actual Star Trek show about TOS era’s ‘C Team’ puttering around the galaxy while the A Team on the Enterprise is off saving the world.
Honestly, Canada sounds better every day. Nice people, subsidized healthcare, no Trump, less expensive Trek, hockey on TV all the time...
