“Did Thanos kill half of all life of half of all sentient beings? Wouldn’t trees disappear if it was half of all life?”
“Did Thanos kill half of all life of half of all sentient beings? Wouldn’t trees disappear if it was half of all life?”
ha! yeah, it does.
Sheppard is now...Cinderella? That hurts my brain. (I think I have to replay ME1-3 so I can feel better)
Shuri and Leia have much better things to do.
I don’t disagree. I misunderstood your comment.
Even Thannos said ‘you should have gone for the head’. Presumably a head-shot which destroyed the brain would kill him immediately. Whereas a heart-shot allows for a few moments clinging to life, where the stones/something can heal Thannos.
At that point - I expected that either the stone was a fake or Thannos had been taken into the soul stone.
“But Thanos is also a twisted individual who thinks erasing half the universe will solve all of its problems.”
I fear I must disagree. What Thannos feels isn’t love. If he loved Gamora he’d put HER first. He puts his own wants before her well-being. He has a choice, he chooses to kill what he loves for his own gain.
presumably because, using a portal to sever Thannos’ arm would not result in the One future where the Avengers et al win.
Pratt’s explanation leaves out one other factor: not only did he grow-up and make a serious commitment to kill the love of his life, he TRIES to kill her, and has that negated by Thannos - who then kills Gamora to get what he wants. That’s a lot of psychological trauma to dump on Star Lord. I don’t blame him a bit…
ugh. Loki pun. (have a star)
“He didn’t use the beeper when the Chitauri invaded, or when Hydra took SHIELD down, or when Dormammu came within seconds of sucking Earth into the Dark Dimension.”
but - it’s not on fox...
if Deke disappeared because, as Robin said “it’s all different now” then how could they address it? No one would know Deke existed if the timeline changed. Perhaps in this timeline the group moved forward in time, never met Deke, or Deke never was born/died before they arrived. Perhaps some change in the timeline…
when you find a reliable way to dispose of the bodies, you keep using it. :-)
“ which means they custom engraved that plaque and sent Coulson off in a matter of hours”
Leocold... ugh. That is star-worthy.
I found Mack’s “we never kill’ to be total BS - he was beginning to get on my nerves with his sudden preachy-moralistic tone. I hope it’s just back-lash from dealing with his life in the Framework and he goes back to being ethical without being a jerk. I’m glad he seems to have gotten over his pissiness at Yo-Yo.
he willfully killed someone he supposedly cared for - in order for him to kill many, many more. I have NO sympathy for him. I find his reasoning of “killing half so the others will have better lives” to be simplistic and not well thought out.
