I don’t know what it is about this new space race that has captivated me so much, but I wept during the launch yesterday. I didn’t become fascinated with space until after college, so I missed that boat for getting involved professionally. But I’m so glad there are people like Elon Musk willing to make the investments…
Yeah this is cool and all but it’s not really an open-wheel car anymore now is it
The greasy sport coat is strangely perfect for you :)
I agree. She was mid-pack NASCAR but she was better than that in open wheeled cars that require waaay more cojones. Here comes turn 1 at Indy at 235 mph staring at a wall, time for a pass.... Sorry to see her go. Still remember the in car where she saved her hands/arms letting go the wheel. She led laps and started…
I can’t wait for some dude to win the Daytona 500 in a few years and be like, I was one of those dudes talking shit about Danica Patrick on a forum, and I then proved my point by winning the race she couldn’t!
She may not be the best NASCAR driver of all time, but i gaurentee she could smoke everyone here. She is a genuinely good race car driver. She may not be in the top 5% of race car drivers, but shes definitely mid pack material. Thats still in the top 50% of race car drivers, which is like the top .0001% of all drivers
Finally a new sub culture has risen to the top of my hate ranking.
I understand that the driver has to make a judgment call - in this stage alone there were probably too many to easily count - but if your co-driver calls it out as as ‘extreme caution’ and you think a slight lift is acceptable then there is a critical disconnect.
Sounds like it was entirely his fault then. What’s the point of having pace notes and a co-driver if you go and completely ignore them?
That Ferrari is ruined! RUINED!
In his defense, storing anything other than gas in a gas can is not a wise move. Unless it had huge labels on it.
I don’t think Ferrari knows that nobody takes these threats seriously anymore.
This is the ideal intersection. You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.
The reduction in the corporate tax rate from 35% to 21% is “drastic.” And if you think those funds will be used for business-growing investments or paid out to the employees as additional salary, I’ve got a bridge in Brooklyn I’m willing to sell you.
But that is completely incorrect. Formula 1 absolutely is about physical strength and we know this because the drivers go through rigorous training to be able to pilot these cars. Everyone who follows the sport knows the amount of force exerted on the neck and core during cornering, on the leg during braking, the heat…
“F1: Driving isn’t about physical strength.” LOL
