I think the prank is harmless by itself, but putting it online for strangers to watch is not just shitty but makes it completely different from the pranking and hazing stories people are sharing in these comments.
Nope. People crash too much and then blame the automakers. Since we can’t change the idiots, we need to change the tech.
Simple solution for future cars - use the car’s GPS location to detect that it’s at a track and disable those features while it’s there. Go a step further and make the person go through a few menu prompts to ensure that yes, they are at the track and yes, they want the systems turned off.
