Your talking about the time when the GOP was populated by people of principle. People who were voted out of office because they entertained the idea of cooperation with the other party. Unfortunately the voters have decided to embrace the hate and anger peddled by the far right.

I agree. One big difference between American style desert and rally racing and the Dakar is you don’t get to see the stage before you run it. The ASO provides each car with a “road book” that tells you what is coming and how much caution should be used when you get there.

I honestly think the only way to fix this problem is to start docking the team’s points after they go over their allotted engine supply. Points=championships but they also =money. If the teams knew that their hard earned and very expensive points could be taken away because of a blown engine they would make that…
