I think it's a good idea :( it allows for much smoother changes and accelerator control. And really, smoothness is big part of what Rolls Royce is about, isn't it?

He was simply outlining it for those who don't know. Just saying "V8 Supercars" might confuse people from other countries who have never heard of it.

Very true! :)

Love me some Holden Caprice!

Well, yes and no. My stance is that once it becomes impossible to create the photo by means of a professional photographer in theory (In theory because, as in this photo it would've been near impossible to get the colours and balances correct in the millisecond between the shot being framed and the shot being fired,

I agree, I also think it might just be over editing of the original photo with some other composites over the top. How far the steering wheel is turned in relation to the front wheels is a little jarring though. But i've never driven even a mildly good sports car so I wouldn't know how its meant to be. :P

The ceramic in spark plugs is incredibly hard. They rate a 9 on the Mohs hardness scale, for comparison Diamond is a 10. Not only are they incredibly hard but something to do with the chemical makeup of the ceramic is very good at disintegrating safety glass.

Thankfully my car is an early 90's lexus ES, so I have some fun little electronics but also a mostly mechanical drivetrain. (By mechanical I simply mean analog as opposed to digitally controlled.)

Working on my friends 2006 Commodore which isn't exactly the leader when it comes to technological innovations was fairly

I have that setup in my car. I have a Carputer running an Airplay server with a script I wrote making a Transparent VNC connection over the top (VNC's display rate is notoriously slow). My iPhone is mirrored on the cars dash at 60FPS and I can control it from there too. Its absolutely amazing, iOS in the car will

In a way, I agree with both sides. I love the technological advancements we are making with cars, but at the same time don't understand the unneeded complexity. A modern Audi needs the front half of the car to be disassembled to change the timing belt. I for one don't understand what was wrong with a good old cable

I think if it was priced at about 500 thousand pounds it would've been a little unfair, but this is a car thats trying to sell for 1.4 million dollars of my Australian money, you would want it to be crazy good for that price, and if it isn't, it deserves to be shown.

I actually cracked up almost into tears, it was a case of "OMG DID HE JUST DO THAT!?!?". I found it hilarious and well played.

Personally I think they could do up pretty nicely

Are you 14?

I'm sorry, this might be a culture divide. But American muscle cars just take the "Aggressive" styling waaayyyyy too far. Theres all these bits of useless plastic and vents and a big boxy shape, wrapped around a drivetrain that isn't all that impressive (Talking about v6 versions). The commodore sells in

If the lower picture was real I would buy this is a heartbeat. How did something so superbly sexy get made out of something so ugly, are there other crossovers that can make this crossover to being sexy? o_____o

It is, but back when I made this comment (Mid 2012) we didn't actually have those sorts of areas for handicapped people in Victoria, Australia. Handicapped parks were the same as normal parks with a wheelchair painted on them.

In the months after I made that comment, as some sort of irony, all the new shopping centres

Fun fact actually, after I posted this comment all the new shopping centres and parking lots that got built had these spots. Still pretty rare as they have to be <1 year old, but I'm a much happier man now, having this amazing innovation surrounding me in any sort of way.

This.

Judging by the previews at the start of the program for the rest of the season, It's only going to get better, and for a first episode it was pretty damn hilarious.
I too get annoyed about all the fake crashes and badly executed hollywood style comedrama (dramatic comedy :P) but it was still pretty entertaining

Those sorts of laws are great, but it does get taken too far here. Its very hard to modify a car without it becoming illegal by some little law, the worst part is that you will be hard pressed to find police pulling fully licensed drivers over for anything wrong with the actual car. (Unless its an obvious deathtrap or
