In Australia we have government installed “Smart Meters” which track energy consumption. I can see that in my household of my mother and myself, running TV’s and a fair bit of computer gear (1 low-power server, NAS, networking equipment, large monitor) we use around 3-5kw on a regular day without heating or cooling.

If she wasn't all there, then she shouldn't be driving.

Yup, I rear ended someone once, no visible damage but insurance found $2,500 worth of damage underneath. :/ Got them to take it somewhere else for a second quote and it was even more expensive. Absolutely crazy how much bumpers can absorb.

With how much a paint job costs in Australia I certainly wouldn't be doing that to it

Depends where you live, as far as I know its really common in America as they can start driving at 16.

Need for Speed was stupid as well, but more of the believable and not completely over the top kind of stupid. I quite liked it and would like to see more like it, not sure about a sequel but more like it, sure :)

Another sort of movie like gone in 60 seconds or transporter would be nice too, where racing isn't the

What do you think of the 2006-2011 GS450h? It uses its electric motor sort of like a supercharger, giving a whole bunch of torque off the line, whilst also using it for fuel savings. So much so that it ended up faster and better value than the more expensive V8 model.

Increases risk of injury in a crash and pursuits get called off if they're too risky very quickly here. If you're referencing our use of bulbar for our kangaroo problems, then thats pretty appropriate, I'd love to see a 911 with a big fuck-off bull-bar!

Hate to admit it, but its what gets them clicks. People find negative things more intriguing and attention-worthy, not that its a bad thing, its pretty much wired into our brains. Dissing on games, ESPECIALLY ones that are actually good, brings in the page views. Partly just casual readers, partly outraged fans.

The Caprice and the Chev SS are pretty much the exact same car underneath.

Security by obscurity is not good security.

I was so-so about getting an Xbox One just for Horizon 2, but this has %100 guaranteed I will be getting one at some point. Maybe not now, but eventually.
I love that they really put effort into these sorts of references.

cool

We have those ones in Australia. We also have plain packaging laws, all smoke packets are the same colour with the same fonts, no logos or advertising allowed.

Probably the weirdest tip I'm ever going to give, but in situations where I'm worried about fingerprints and getting oils on an object I always just use a knuckle, it leaves pretty much no marks.

Seems to be Victoria, Australia judging by the plates, a bit hard to tell with the resolution though.

.. So why market anything towards a particular sex?

This particular example is really dumb, but you seem to be arguing that any sort of marketing based on the target audiences sex is bad. Enticing a particular sort of person into buying your product is basically 101: Marketing. Wether its someone who likes a

I work in IT and it is my lifeblood. I use Apple for personal devices (and laptops) because I have enough tinkering to do to get things at work playing nicely, I don't need the same experience when I get home.

If this Isn't a great picture to show the commodore/falcon density in Australia I don't know what is.

9 Commodores, 7 Falcons that I can count!
