Try using other game set to play 6-player and only go for three or four flicky birds. It works fantastic and plays in only an hour.

Most likely. Unfortunately Kickstarter backers go literally braindead for a game with minis in it, and are incapable of free thought. Buying the game is mandatory to them, so it was only a matter of time and a little energy to scam these goons of their clearly overly expendable income.

There’s another Sonic board game coming out this year weirdly enough that’s only $30 USD and is also a modular racing game with minis, only the $30 looks more indepth and playable than this one.
