Steam has really chapped my ass recently. For some mysterious reason, the Steam client on my Mac has decided to stop logging onto their network, and their tech support is of no help at all.

That's correct. As I recall, the Famicom disk drive added extra sound channels too, so a bunch of disk games got enhanced audio that we Statesiders missed out on.
