As a paying customer of an airline, it is not my responsibility to make sure the airline has their bases covered. Give me a break.

Remember: smart people can still make very, very dumb decisions, including the same ones over and over again. Intelligence does not always equal common sense.

I’m so torn. I totally get the dress code situation for the passes. And if it were an adult I would agree this is a non issue. But I think Patricia Arquette nailed it. They’re 10 year olds. Who had to wait an airport to maybe or maybe not get a flight. And then fly. I understand there’s a dress code. But I also think

The problem is that United’s policy—according to their own reps on Twitter—is not “no leggings.” It’s that individual gate agents have the discretion to enforce dress codes as they see fit.

I’m old enough to remember when you still dressed nicely on planes, but that also means I’m old enough to remember when air travel was something special. My mom and I were actually just talking about this when she came to visit a week ago. “There are so many people who look like they just left the gym now!” I asked if

The ten-year-old girl’s father was in shorts.

“Are there no prisons? Are there no workhouses?”

I’ve been a pass traveler, too, but I’ve seen this policy enacted in wildly different ways from site to site (and from agent to agent). If you’re going to have a policy, it shouldn’t be selectively applied, and a company should always be very careful not to criticize the apparel of younger children.

Yeah I thought this was going to be a story about 20-ish girls in see-thru leggings. Some leggings aren’t meant to be worn as pants. The leggings on a 10-year-old? ARE PANTS.

It’s almost like there’s literally nothing a girl or woman can wear without getting grief ... no, that can’t be it.

Thanks. I like royalty.

Charles and Diana’s pairing came about for much the same reason people have disaster sex - the need for human closeness and comfort during a tough time.

They should have asked him for his SAG card in return.

Even if Donald and his supporters don’t care at all about undocumented immigrants, the whole country will be safer if everyone feels safe using the legal system. Arresting people in courtrooms is a terrible idea from any perspective.

ICE agents who stalk courthouses should have to submit to instant background checks to see if they have any outstanding warrants, if they’re late on their child support payments, etc.

I realise I am impure in my designs atm because I have a recalcitrant ex tryna fuck me over shared assets, but as Aimee has pointed out, it all starts off amicable but then suddenly it’s not amicable because they are being fucking assholes so you go nuclear.

Also, that’s not how divorce works. Yes, they could pound out an agreement and push through the papers quickly and quietly, but filing initial pleadings isn’t a hostile act, its more like just a reference point. Idk.

Isn’t it funny how the Swifty affair completely de-sexified him? Like someone turning off a faucet.

Your landlord won’t pay for the exterminator? Mine handles that, they don’t want shit like that spreading.

Did not see the same thing on Denzel’s face as you guys saw. In fact, I saw him tearing up.
