Definitely let me know how you liked it! I’m gonna have to give it a rewatch soon, see if it holds up.

Ahhh that sounds fantastic! I’m so glad Get Out did so well for Jordan Peele, I’ve always loved Key & Peel and I’m so excited for him to make more horror movies.
Such a hidden gem on Netflix! The dollhouse scenes were sooo creepy.
I felt the same way! I should have gone back at least two more times. Just a great movie all around, but especially for a horror movie. Jordan Peele’s comedy writing experience was definitely an asset.
Like I said, ALWAYS got the volition to talk horror movies! I think this was one of those movies where it helped that I went in with lowered expectations. I saw its awful rotten tomatoes score from critics who just hated it, so I came out feeling like wait, that wasn’t too bad at all, I actually liked it!
I LOVE What We Do In the Shadows! Housebound is not quite as funny but I still quite enjoyed it. I also don’t think it’s on Netflix, but You’re Next is a great bloody little slasher flick. And I’m sure Get Out is too new to be out streaming yet, but it’s one of the best horror movies I’ve seen in years.
Apologies for completely butting in but I’m always a slut for talking about Netflix horror movies. I see you’ve gotten a lot of recommendations already but here are mine:
That would have been an even better article

Chris Parnell’s line delivery is a gift we do not deserve
You’re welcome. I wholeheartedly endorse green bananas as fully ripened bananas are an abomination. I’ve never tried fresh plaintains, but maybe I’ll have to give them a go (I love them fried).
You’re welcome. Many moons ago I had to write a paper on the bananapocalpyse and reading that new yorker article brought it all back. Apparently the gros michel still exists, but I think it’s easier to find in Asia.
The time: 1950s. The place: South America. The fungus: Panama disease (fusarium oxysporum). The resut: bananapocalypse.
Came here for this!
STOP MAKING IT SOUND MORE INTRIGUING
Oh my god. How aggressive are we talking here? Petitions to the principal? Elaborate plans to steal and shrink their uniforms?
Dammit, I respect your need for privacy but now I’m just so curious.
As a sophomore on the high school newspaper I wrote an editorial supporting Harriet Miers as a supreme court justice. I barely knew anything about either of those subjects, and the gist of my argument was “I’m sure Bush wouldn’t have nominated her if she didn’t deserve it you guys, he’s the president.”
