It’s essentially two tape measures with a strip of LEDs inside. If you watch the clip and/or when they use it on Galactic Starcruiser, it’s always held mostly upright and never swung, because any horizontal force and it’ll collapse like a spaghetti noodle. Also, the moment that they swap it out for a stiff-bladed light

To me, the essence of Porsche is the unique silhouette and the brilliant engineering providing everyday drivability with outstanding performance. What about Ferdinand Porsche makes you think he never wanted his cars to evolve?

A new Taycan is too expensive to qualify for a tax credit.

I rarely side with automakers or dealers, but damn these owners suck and just need to deal with it. This is literally how every consumer product works. Unless there was a contract or documentation stating these would never be made again... too fucking bad? This is what you get for overpaying for stupid vehicles.

Some people need to get a life.

…in other countries, such as Europe,…

IMO we’re already past the point where the hybrid is the most practical choice for the average American. The average new car buyer in the US already fits the use-case for an EV, and can already afford one too. It’s mainly down to politics and misinformation that they haven’t taken off in the US as quick as they have

I get a feeling everyone is jumping all in with this thing without totally understanding. It feels like the early days of the internet when it too was all hot and new and everyone and their mother was giddy to find something- ANYTHING to do with it just because.

I’m very glad she’s okay.

I think we need tiered drviers licences. Basic license, allows up to a certain weight and size, 4 cyl or less no turbo etc. You have to pass more tests and pay fees for larger and more powerful cars. Base it off the way we certificate pilots

Lenny Kravitz is 58 so he totally fits the demo Cadillac caters to.

1st gear: Can Rivian even make more than 10k Amazon vans a year? Do they have that capacity? They produced 25k vehicles in 2022. They have a projected production capacity of 40k vehicles in 2023 and 40k in 2024. It’s a solid ramp up but they arent exactly in a position to scoff at 100k units from Amazon.

It amazes me how little Americans use sun shades in their windshield. I love ours! I rarely see them, even when I travel south.

Well, I’d have to agree, except that Erin’s take is even worse.

It was considered a “secretary car” when new. Yes, sexist, but also kind of accurate if one looked at who was driving those things. At the time, I had a 5-speed Celica GT (with power windows!) and considered that car a POS. Actually, I still consider that car a POS.

It needs 50% fewer miles, and 50% more pedals or 100% more driven wheels.

Too much for that mileage and vintage. And GOD I hate those dash toupees like I hate carpet in a bathroom.

Virtually every single analysis about Joel’s actions at the end of TLOU Part I ignores the single most egregious thing he did that is absolutely, utterly unjustifiable: he lied.

Really? Game Joel was running through that hospital throwing molotovs, burning people alive, dousing hallways in flamethrowers, blowing people to bits with fuckin’ nail bombs, beating the shit out of everyone with a baseball bate with scissors and knives taped to it, shooting corpses repeatedly just to see the ragodol

Gonna be honest, this is a pretty wild read that makes me think the division caused by the ending will not be mitigated at all. Because to me, I was thinking during the finale: “Wow Joel comes off even worse here than in the game.” Especially because the show, for the most part, has avoided Joel being depicted as a
