In the 70's when I worked in a auto parts store the budget oil was a brand called Fox Head. Occasionally someone would come into the store who had a upscale car, buy a OEM oil filter, some trinkets like a key fob and buy the cans of Fox Head. We’d usually chuckle afterwards.

The morning after the infamous chair incident I was on vacation doing my morning read. There was a piece in the Daily Beast by Michelle Goldberg outlining his awfulness toward women particularly ex spouse Locke. Eastwood is akin to Mel Gibson and some others in Hollywood, their influence is so large they get a pass

I always thought of his politics as being more Libertarian in nature but yeah he's probably quite Trumpy.

What do you expect from someone who runs ads with him blowing up stuff in his backyard and pointing a shotgun in a young mans face.

I like the two door and the extra cab which fills the needs of most people. It reminds me of a couple of service stations where I grew up which had plow ready CJ3 Jeeps with the steel closed cab top leaving the short bed rear open.

A first generation 1997 Acura CL 3.0 V6 with a typically slippery transmission in decent shape for $500. Drive it, buff it, then put a rebuilt transmission in it and enjoy the leather interior, sunroof and smooth 3.0.

As a kid I had the 58-60 Thunderbird version of this kiddie car in blue. One of my early auto influences that stick with me to today.

Welcome to the club. I’ve been a longtime Mustang, Thunderbird and Cougar owner and currently own a 95 Thunderbird LX with the 4.6 in nice shape. Its the spiritual forerunner to this one with Independent rear suspension and Modular V8. I’ve been shopping E46 BMW and Saab convertibles as a replacement but the heart

Back 40 years ago when AMC and Renault partnered you could get the Audi 2.0 four in a Gremlin and Concord.

I saw a new non AMG E400 wagon the other day. It stood out among the bevy of GLC, GLK GLE’s and other luxury brands that you see on the road here in the Northeast. It looked fine, quite stylish with a low and lean haunch. For most buyers who don’t need a third row it’s more than functional enough but we’re in the era

I bet, pardon the pun that they also grumbled about signing the ACA contraception waiver.

Oldsmobile also had a version of this as the Cutlass wagon, just a shorter non Vista wagon.

I’ve always had a soft spot for them particularly the well optioned and convertibles. The post 2006 PT was cheapened with the one piece bumpers and cut rate dash. The best of them is the 00-05 GT Turbo.

The new Silverado 3500 front end looks like a truck stacked on top of a truck. Or Truckasaurus from the Simpsons episode.

Agreed. For the price of a pedestrian Rogue, CRV or Escape you can drive an Alfa. Just drive it until the warranty is up or pay for an extended package.

I always thought the Buick was the uglier one. The oddly proportioned D pillar and Billy Bass mouth grill were far worse than the Pontiac.

Everything Ocasio-Cortez outlined from rural electrification to the space program benefited Huckabee’s state. He’s just too dim or buried in his bible to realize it.
Arkansas used to elect some thoughtful folks from Fulbright to Bumpers. Now they have the retrograde Cotton in the senate.

The 1957 YX360 looks like a shrunken Henry J/Allstate.

Sure “First they came for the Twitter...”

Or why not take the child tax credit earlier based on moment of conception. You could see couples sitting around the table when filing their taxes. “When was junior conceived?” “Was it that night after Colbert or that weekend at the summer house?”
