I knew someone who owned one of these just like it. He bought it when he had a burgeoning family. He would always say to me “it’s not a minivan, it’s an SUV!” As if he was embarrassed to be driving one though he was technically correct, the 1st and 2nd generation have more in common with a truck based SUV.

Actually the Holiday 88 came with the optional bucket seats and the FE-3 suspension. Besides the LeSabre Turbo or a well equipped Catalina coupe they were the best driving and handling GM B-body cars.

That Nissan Judo looks like a cross between a Suzuki X-90 and a 2 door RAV 4.

Someone ought to buy a Keurig and donate it to Alan Colmes favorite charity. Preferable a cancer charity since that was the disease that felled him. Or a homeless shelter or veterans home in the name of all of the veterans Hannity’s pal Trump has disrespected.

A couple of years ago I saw a really nice late 90's XJ 2 door 4x2 in red with the 2.5 four banger and the manual transmission with AC and wide tires on set of the later model steelies. It was unusual enough to be very tempting. Chances are it was so clean because it was 4x2 and barely off road.

Nice. Mine was mustard gold with a ginger interior and light brown vinyl roof with the Western trim around the upper quarter panel and trunk lid.

I’m old enough to remember 1983 after 241 marines were killed in Beirut Tip O’Neil was plenty mad and convened one committee to issue a report.

Or just send General Sherman for another visit.

In the 70's into the 80's I owned a 70 coupe with the 302, C4 automatic and factory air. It had the optional Western trim package which was kind of below a Grande. It served me well with one engine rebuild and normal maintenance.

The underrated and somewhat forgotten about Ford ZX2 coupe. 2.0 Zetec producing 130 hp. There was a S/R performance version which compared to a Neon R/T. You can find them fairly reasonably priced from $1000-3k.

I’m more than ok with a new Beetle electric. It could be more space efficient than previous generations with a hatch and a real frunk.

Here’s a decent well maintained 850R sedan on eBay for around the same price.

I find myself reminded of the comments regarding a rape case by this once legendary TV weatherman.

These good Christian folks who are defending Moore might as well drive around in a white van with Free Candy and Tax Cuts painted on the side.

No wonder why Moore and others of his strip oppose minimal marriage age laws. That Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson said 14-15 girls ought to get married because in his words “by the time they are 20 they have their hand in your wallet”.

No wonder why he wanted the giant Ten Commandments monument placed at the capital. Just as a reminder.

Plus wingnut talk show host and columnist Howie Carr. Yup no surprise there.

Thanks Virginia for choosing an army surgeon and pediatrician over a K-street lobbyist (Enron Ed) who was channeling the ghost of Lee Atwater.

He actually opposes the ADA thinking it’s an oppressive federal intrusion into his states affairs. Ive said before some of these folks would cheer Richard Widmark in the film Kiss of death.
