Yeah, I do see why it rankles at first glance. And I actually had a similar reaction. But it just takes a moment of reflection to see that it is an improvement on the status quo.

I don't have any streaming music subscriptions, so I figured 'screw it' and signed up for the Tidal trial to check this out. Does everyone who says 'Still not getting Tidal' not realise that it's got a pretty significant library? There's little need to have multiple subscriptions, if Tidal has My Life With The Thrill

I love how people get offended on the behalf of corporations.

I've never been really into poppy R&B, but Beyonce has had some songs I've kind of liked. I've always felt she's a slightly robotic hit producing machine though so I've never seen anything to get passionate about.

I do get the outrage, and I think it's narratively ill considered. But I think by now enough has been said and reviewers should probably consider moving on.

The difficulty here is that jokes signal their presence by being funny.

Since then her Twitter has become a bit depressing. It's important stuff, but infuriating.

Twitter runs a serious risk of dying, but not for the reasons people complain about. Twitter needs to lay off from adding features no one cares about and start cracking down on rampant abuse. Problem is abusers are traffic and traffic is the only metric they care about.

This exactly. Many of the complaints about Twitter are based on confusion regarding its purpose. It's not about conversations or sharing random events from your life (unless you're a very interesting/famous/notable person). It's about discovering and learning about events that are happing all around you and following

Don't watch it. It's so wonderful that when the credits roll on the last episode you'll be consumed by sdness.
