I'm not sure Shameless has been a comedy since Season 1. I gave up after Season 3 when it started to grind me down.

I didn't know what to make of it when I started. It's such a weird little thing, but then my wife and I burned through in a couple of days. Once it finds it feet, and once we as viewers bought into the conceit (required IMO to appreciate a musical) it really came into its own.

Started watching Season 1 of Galavant on a lark last week and burned through in 2 days. Towards the second half of the season I was getting concerned that Richard was going to end up dead as I completely fell in love with the character, and Omundson as the character, so I was thrilled that he went off with Galavant.

Yeah, I'm with you. It's an interesting first half of a first season that could have developed into something great, or could have gone down the toilet. what we got though was… fine.

Well, "think" and "objective" are pretty much mutually exclusive, but to my sensibilities TFA is better paced, plotted, scripted and acted.

I haven't heard anything about this series for so long I thought it was cancelled a year or more ago.

That's legit cool.

This is amazing.

Damn, talk about homoerotic subtext.

Yeah, I think of a US MasterChef Professionals and I come up with Hell's Kitchen, so it would be a nightmare.

I've seen some of the early English ones, is there a US version? The early rounds where they have to cook for Michel Roux Jr's Sous chef are often quite funny. It's amazing how many ways a professional can f*ck up scrambled eggs.

Oh, I'm sure it is. But that sort of thing can be a nasty challenge for a trained chef, so his nearly traumatised response makes me really want to watch it.

This is interesting. I don't like the American style "I'm not here to make friends" type of competitive cooking show. I prefer competitions where people don't feel obligated to be douche-bags, like MasterChef Australia and Great British Bake Off, so I only watched part of one of the first seasons of Top Chef, but

Yeah, Dubya gets a lot of shit, and he deserves all of it, but his Africa policies were very good for the continent.

I was definitely in the correct demographic for this movie the first time I saw it. I still remember it fondly, but don't think I would risk a rewatch.

One of the strangest phenomena on the internet is the person who hates a person they don't know so much that they spend energy expressing their feelings publicly every chance they get.

Yeah, what I've seen have been more like this.

I wish I could give more upvotes.

Hah, this is going to have a 3000 comment backlash by the end of the day, so I'll just say this.
