That’s insane. How can a statue be guilty of a crime?

So, instead of making the foot look bigger in a natural way - extending the toe, he extended the heel to make it look like a damn bird talon. Genius!

Speaking of infotainment systems, it does make me wonder why rear-facing cameras aren’t used instead of windows? A modern convertible top could have a few cameras displaying in place of the rear view mirror and avoid the whole issue.

When did disposals become a thing anyway? They don’t eliminate the need for trash bins. They’re like half-assed composting that isn’t actually any better than throwing the food away.

I would probably watch a mixed, human-canine football league.

It’s a shame the Buzzfeed “writer” didn’t realize that wasn’t the real Jim. That was Fake Jim, invented in season 9 by crappy writers who completely changed Jim’s character to manufacture marital problems for Jim and Pam. Without that season, Jim is off-the-charts.

It would probably take an all-out war with China in order for us to ever reinstate the draft. The modern military prefers volunteers, not conscripted servicemen and women, so it can be more selective.

Because there aren’t different competition classes for arm lengths. There ARE different competition classes for genders, so you want to make sure everyone is competing within the appropriate gender class.

Is this confirmation we’re finally going to get Lady Stonedog?

I’m pretty sure the first guy in/ last guy to leave practice is automatically the quarterback.

You either don’t understand what I’m talking about or you don’t understand what victim blaming is. I’m saying a way to apparently break the ongoing cycle of hate is for victims to show empathy and make a human connection with their oppressors. Victim blaming is when someone says the victim did something that caused

This is how ghost cars are born

I appreciate you making a distinction between different forms of racism, because you’re right that they’ll likely require different approaches. In my opinion, much of the systemic racism is being perpetrated by people that are (mostly) willing to change. To those people, current activism and education approaches will

I don’t think anyone would read what you and I have written and consider me to be the upset one. I’m not saying it always works. You invented that notion because it’s an easier point for you to argue against. I’m also not presenting myself as an expert. But I linked to another Root article where someone who is an

You’ve lurched to an extreme mischaracterization of my position. I do not blame the victims of racism. I am saying victim confronting racists with empathy is more successful than perpetuating the cycle of hate. It’s not fair and it shouldn’t have to happen, but it seems to work.

I’m not interested in continuing 500 years of behavior. That’s why I’m suggesting a change from the standard, “let’s just get really mad about racism and I’m sure that will solve everything” response.

You seem against considering something that might work, and in favor of continuing things that aren’t working.

You may be overstating how much it’s allowed.
