Spending hours on this raid and getting some lame-ass drill sounds almost as bad as spending $60 and getting Fallout 76.

If I had to guess, I’d say that it’ll be their big focus at E3 2020 and then we’ll see it that fall. That’s just a guess, though! No inside info here.

This “Episodic series” will never be finished.  Bet.

So...that’s sounds....neat, on a technical level...but not particularly conducive to good character work or compelling storytelling.

Watch Dogs 2 is really, really good...I think I’d just like more of that in a different setting.

You heard it here first, folks. Your mom is fair game!

Yep their whole existence basically hinged on this May Games with Gold lineup.... they’re toast

Was just speaking to my friends about this supposed outrage, and man, how far have we fallen to take offense in having a black character going back in time to prevent slavery. It's not only outrageous, it's sad . . .

It feels like another pile of fake outrage that feeds upon itself for energy. An instance where completely missing the point begets anger.

The “narrative developments” argument would only make sense if Hayter had voiced Big Boss in Ground Zeroes. That would’ve been a legitimately Kojima-esque narrative trick, but that’s not the reality we live in.

You uhhh, don’t really understand how all networking works, do ya? Sony *absolutely* can shut that down, quickly, and end business ties with that developer/publisher.

Man, the Arkham series is great. Kind of surprising they’ve let it lay fallow for like four years now.

The Internet will never forget.

2019 sure has started off with a bang...

That’s exactly what I was thinking.

Wow, Disney’s deal with EA sure seems to be paying out nicely for them.

“EA then immediately announces Star Wars Battlefront 3"

How would you know if the hard drive had child porn on it?

I think this will be good news for Destiny and those of us who love it, largely because Bungie will no longer be restricted to an annualized schedule. Maybe instead of Destiny 3, Bungie will now be able to transform the game into a single SKU that’s updated regularly. That’s my ideal scenario.

I heard about it earlier this week and spent most of today chasing it. What I didn’t know until the Bungie meeting at 4pm ET was who would get Destiny, which is why I waited until then to report it — I didn’t think it would be responsible to share that Activision and Bungie were splitting without being able to tell

So whats your take on this Jason? You have done some extensive coverage of Destiny in the past, both in your lovely to read book and here on this site, you must have a thought or 2 about whether this change could be for the good or bad of the franchise and how the Bungie employees are looking at this?
