This is a trainer battle, so it has an actual menu, but it still appears outside of trainer battles there is no combat, only throwing. I’m still getting the game, but I’d like to have a battle, and then the PoGo-esque throwing.

Saly, after rewatching, the menu is really just “Get Ready” instead of anything indicating attacks for basic Pokemon fights. Maybe player vs trainer fights will have an actual menu. I was hyped but going back and seeing that kind of dampened it a little bit.

Nice to see the site I go to for gaming shares a similar taste in music too! The chorus on this song gets a little annoying quickly but I think the verses are great.

This surely is not the light I like to see shed upon a town I live barely twenty minutes away from. Jumping from the Wichita Eagle to Kotaku to see this is harrowing and heartbreaking. May the swatting stop and we all game in peace, and may the local community rebuild our hearts.

I think that’s what’s trying to be said. A lot of demos these days just look like a pre-determined path with highly scripted gameplay, if it is even gameplay at all that gets shown. What this is, is very clearly a person controlling Vader willy-nilly, not just some tech demo of, maybe, Mario or Geralt in a tech demo.

Having never seen the show itself but that god damn South Park “Black Friday” trilogy all I ever hear when the theme plays is “Weiner, weiner weiner.”

It is crazy to wonder as some places have stated some theories are true. WHICH THEORIES, DAMNIT!

There it is! God, that comment is better than IGN as a whole, love this site most days. Rocket League was a game I had no interest in until last Friday night at 11pm and I was like why not, and it is one of the funnest games I have played this year. My wife will even play it!

Something to think on fellow gamers. I haven’t pre-ordered a game in almost two years. Why is that? Sure, it partially comes from MAYBE not having the money come launch, but a majority of the issue came when a digital release could get you something or Best Buy could get you something else. I did not want that…
