thats okay...they gave LaPuta #3...which is basically the same story as Castle of Cogliostro ...princess kidnapped by her older male cousin who is also royalty, because he seeks a piece of jewelry she possess that holds the key to unlocking the power/treasure of a lost kingdom. Princess tries to escape and is rescued

there were a couple dozen Anime series/films made into Laser Disc games in the 80’s. the other two of note are GalaxyExpress999/Galaxy Railways and Space Cobra. it was a pretty popular fad in Japan for a brief time...you could even get a home system ad on to laser disc player to play them outside the arcade.

Destiny? if you enjoy grinding in the same like...12 missions over and over and over again X100...then...sure.... it’s pretty...it goes nowhere...the plot isn’t explained...but sure.

“The Wind Rises sucks. It’s a humourless trudge.”

as opposed to “Grave of the Fireflies” which is just a hoot and a half?

no way Porco Rosso beats Nauusica.... Naussica and Mononoke are fighting for first really.

the F-35 is not meant to be guns on guns dog fighter. It has guns...it can use them...but its primarily intended to engage enemy aircraft at extreme range.

“Thank you, Netflix, now go shove your dick in a blender.”

is there a secret version of the game that doesn’t have bat mobile sequences shoehorned clumsily into the mission structure? or bullshit levels like the drilling machine that can somehow move faster than a turbine powered bat mobile? cuz that would be awesome.

what Arkham Knight does to the games franchise is REALLY NOT GOOD. easily the worst in the series. but yeah... as soon as I got to that cut scene I could almost hear the yellow doc’s crowds head exploding with pout rage.

like banning apps that depict farting... yet every iOS device has poop emojis.

oh sure...Black Flag being one of the few games I’ve paid full price for already on my XBone... guess I should sell the disk while I can.

that looks...awful. I was intrigued by the Anime...but bailed after 12 or so episodes...becuase the plot just NEVER goes anywhere...but I still thought they did a good job of creating a nice scary tone...the trailer for the live action film...just looks hokey...like most Japanese films with FX in them.

I’m kind of surprised to see flagship licenses for both Mattel AND Hasbro in the same game...but that just makes it more awesome. Having played the previous ToySoliders games (and DLC) on my old 360...I was going to get the new games anyways...now I’m REALLY looking forward to it. the Transformers and Gobots lines are

show me where the kickstarter fund is to ensure he is never allowed near a camera or editing equipment again and they can have ALL my money.

with regards to the M6D in the first Halo... if you read the strategy guide for the game (back when such guides were more than just an expensive manual that should have come with a game anyways) the description of the weapons lists its cartridge as 12.5 mm...where as the fin stabilized sabot round for the sniper rifle

in highschool in the late 80’s I lived in south Arlington TX, next to the airfield Bell/Textron was using as a base for V-22 flight tests. several times a week getting to see them circling the neighborhood flanked by a pair of Kiowa’s. one day I was trying to cut through another neighborhood to dodge some traffic, and

back in when the N64 first released, I was living in Colorado. my roommate had saved up some money to get an N64, but neglected to think that the systems were sold out everywhere, and he didn’t pre-order.

its been over 15 years...but I’m still not happy about Sierra canceling Babylon 5: Into the Fire

between 2002-2005, I was active on forums dealing with figure collecting/comics and heavy on Gi Joe related things. In the OffTopic sections of the forums, flame wars would erupt...as they do, but one guy in particular would follow me from thread to thread to thread, across several different forums, just to talk shit,

the old saying is true... “Never meet your heroes, they will only disappoint you”. maybe we could get Miyazaki and Alan Moore to fight it out in a curmudgeon vs curmudgeon death match?

the “Born Again Saga” (#223-#227) is a brilliantly mixed bag, and is an early indication of how Frank Miller can simultaneously be both a genius, and an incredibly lazy hack. Aside from the obvious issues Miller has with female characters (just HAD to turn Karen Page into a washed up former porn actress now whoring
