Hmm... I get that writers are not magical. I think it's cool to be able to write stories real or fictional. I get that real life happens to fiction writers too and they inevitably do draw from it. However, I think in drawing a distinction between fictional writing and writing a memoir I can exaggerate a point, i.e.
