You wouldn’t want to hit something like that in any car. That’s, what, a 2” strip of front end trying to absorb the force of an entire car? None of them are brilliant at it, big surprise.

I forgot the Malibu Classic made it to 2005... Yeah, that was a sad car. Remarkably reliable, but terrible in every way.

Ahem.

Purists be damned. They said the same thing about Porsche making an SUV. There aren’t enough purists to maintain/expand some companies, so they have to expand their market, thus new products. Can’t blame them for that.

70? I’m governed at 62. It’s down right dangerous for that to be legal on 80/85mph highways.

Sweet merciful giblets, “only” 4,300 rpm? I turn maybe 2,000 rpm at 80 mph.

I was on board until the “no A/C” part...

Speed doesn't kill, but the differential between speeds does.

If the mechanic may be responsible after only 2 months and 400 miles, how many months/miles do you think are absolutely no longer the mechanic’s responsibility?

As another poster noted, a guilty verdict leaves repair shops with some bad options:

A set of decent files and a set of sturdy steel punches. I cant tell you how many times my 50 year old 1/4” punch has saved my butt when working around the garage.

It can make it whole lot easier to plug all vacuum leaks by removing the equipment the car quite frankly doesn’t need to keep running. A new carb and a cam developed with current knowhow will go a long way to compensate for the emissions.

I’m not sure that “people who buy ten dollar multi-tools” and “people who own a good set of files” are overlapping circles on the venn diagram of life.

This looks like the best possible method to crack my back.

Central Coast (California) resident here. There are tons of these late Bullnoses running around in remarkable condition here. Probably the last of the honest full-size trucks made.

I was always partial to “Love Muscle”

The A10 is nice and quiet, that is until they unload some rounds! I still think the A6 was a really loud plane but more annoying than anything. I used to see the B1 take off at night every night, best is when they just do a full afterburner test without actually taking off.

Bleh! I have a six-month-old baby and a 2005 GTO. It is a PITA every time my little guy goes into his car seat...and worth it every time I punch the gas.

Sure, in the same room as the road flares and bulk oily-rag storage. But there’s a wooden door separating it from the smoking area, so it’s cool. It’s not like China has any industrial-safety laws.

That is a bitchin van.
