Well heck, my 1988 F-159 has the 4.9L I6 that too so out at 145 HO. Probably making 70-80HP @ 1500 rpm, but also making around 250 lb/ft (maxes out at 265 lb/ft 2000 rpm)

Sounds pretty decent to me. Then again, I live in rural Redneck Idaho, so we are used to stuff sounding like this:

NASCAR would probably like to but the painted themselves in a corner by get so ties in with the big tracks owners and allowing the proliferation of 1.5 mile tracks in the 99s/00s.

Tommy Kendall and Chad Little in 88

The old Hostess bakery was to the south of the corner. That’s actually where dad and I sat and the few photos I have are from Twinkie Corner.

You can’t just judge by looks though. Thise is the layout for the 1987/1988 Spokane Grand Prix. It does’t Look that exciting, but Tommy Kendall once told me they were flying through the tunnel (#6) and after a couple laps, the brakes barely slowed them down for the Sheraton Corner.

This was about 1989 or so. The Aztec was about 1999. Even then, the Astro was a decent looking concept that looked like crap on launch day. It defined now Bad GM was in the 90s/00s and pretty much killed Pontiac because they could never make what they wanted using shared Chevy/Olds/Buick parts.

From what I have seen, the prototype has glass T tops and removable side windows (can’t roll down into those doors).

Personally I would have pushed what appears to be a retractable 6 outlet extension cord behind the bicycle bags.

But it’s a removable cooler. You door is literally ice cold beer...

This is the kind of Stuff Pontiac was dreaming up, but the GM bean counters insisted on parts sharing, so Carbon Fiber body panels and garden hoses and removable beach chairs would have never made production.

RONCO or more of a Simpsons Monorail kind of thing?

Funny thing about Washington State University: It’s built on a hill. So I can indeed say that I have walked uphill both ways through the snow many times.

It’s really not that good. Go watch Once Upon A Time in The West if you want something from 1968.

No mention of the Chilibowl Nationals?

You can try the old trick if spraying some starting fluid around spots and see if it ups the revs. Helps find leaky gaskets and open vacuum lines.

I could, but they are tinted, so help block sun and thy are actually nice on a day where there is light rain
