I think the problem is that the “wet weight” will vary so much from one user to another. Toolboxes, work boxes, flat beds, etc all weight a different. Add in trailer towing and the variables are going to make Manufacturer MPG estimates even more of a joke than they are for light duty vehicles.

State Farm. It is absolute bare minimum coverage because I don’t ride much. I have been riding in town lately, so I should probably pony up a little more $$ for uninsured motorist coverage.

Nah... But wait till the conversion upfitters get theupir hands on it...

Kinda like how people ask me what I am riding, then see the HONDA sticker on the down tube.

Probably a classification in the system then. It is motorcycle insurance, but it's like $20 a year to insure.

“legally” it’s a motorcycle. Insurance classes it as a scooter (and dang is scooter insurance cheap!).

Honda does have a jit if a history with small adventure scooters in the US.

Single cab, long bed is nice for a tow rig that isn’t unreasonably long.

The whole thing is disgraceful. If that sort of retaliation happened at output local track, they would ban both drivers. Toying around that close to the back car is stupid. Purposefully ramming another car (in the the driver’s door no less) is unacceptable. I’ve seen people yell at each other, but never this stuff.

It was peppy if you got on it, but there was no sense of connection to the road; no quirks or personality at all.

I had a loner Camry a few years back when our 2007 Mazda5 was being repaired. Despite being newer than anything we owned, it was a terribly plain car. It felt kinda peppy, but the steering was completely in its own solar system from the rest of the car. In fact, there was noting that made it feel connected to the

Don’t forget the 924 turbo 2.0L. They were supposed to be as fast as a contemporary 911 in European 170bhp spec. Of course, in America, they were more like 140-145hp. Also, it was a cart the defined early turbo lag. It was relatively slow and noisy accelerating, all of a sudden.... TURBO boost!!

My dad always wanted a Porsche, so when he sold off his last Fiat Spyder, we went and looked at a ‘79 924 Turbo. It had the quirky dogleg 5-speed, but it felt decent riding in it. Unfortunately, the interior was completely ratted out and woild have cost a ton to fix.

They are licensed as on road ATVs here in Idaho with an appropriately shrunken ATV license plate. They are pretty common aroind the Twin Falls, ID area because we have an importer. Went by last month and saw a HiAce van. It’s not my list of vehicles to look at.

We looked at one, but it only separated 4. No good for a growing family. Mazda5 ended up fitting the bill better.

Looks like the same stuff in my 88 F-150,except that it’s grey instead of black. That stuff will last forever.

Do the ultra-rich have special waterproof pants and hiking boots or something? I’m not seeing anywhere for hip waders and that dude is wearing the same pants in all photos.

I live in small town America... Riding in the back of a pickup is just normal.

Nice... Now I know who did the 5 story stunt I saw as a kid in ‘86. It was in Vancouver, BC but pretty sure it was the same deal

Thanks. It belongs to my Mother On Law and I’m slowing restoring it. Sadly, it wasn’t kept up well, so the paint it pretty faded. Trying to buff it, but it’s getting thin in spots. Also, one of the original rims is cracked. Turns out that this specific style of turbine wheel can be a bit hard to source, so it’ll
