They tend to have pretty good stuff online. nBCSN used to do a nightly recap, but I don’t think they are doing it on TV anymore

So it’s a modern version of this

My 88 F-150 has no clock. It was originally in the radio. There is probably one in the current head unit, but that would take fiddling to figure it out...

That looks a lot like the old digital dash in my 95 Sable (just with more color)

I would be impressed if it wasn’t done on Junkyard Wars years ago. Granted, it wasn’t a Busa, but by far one of the most impressive builds on that show.

Road trip!

I prefer a more stable operating system in my center stack. SBC is a proven entertainment system and pretty decent motivator.

You can actually tune good carbs to cruise on the lean side since there isn’t enough to load to cute detonation. The accelaterator pump riches up the mix when power is needed. You end up more like 16:1 or 17:1 AFR whereas FI almost always aims for a 14.7:1 ratio (modern systems can probably lean out on cruise I

Well shoot, pays to check on spell-check. The Porsches were cruising slowly.... Porches were much more leisurely, with some rocking chairs being the most movement... Wait that was Tenessee.

I haven't had much issues with the mountains around here. 55-65MPh speed limits probably make a difference compared to the 80MPH limit on the flatlands here on the Idaho side of the border.

Visited Florida a few times for work. The only thing I really noticed was how slow people with Porches drove.

I agree. I was going to say something about someone driving say a base Dodge Caliber or something, but a lot of time you drive what you can afford.

Does you dad have the carpeted dash pad, the shag seatbelt covers and the old person butt pads? Lol

My dad currently has a Prius. Growing up though he had:

Garlits and Robbie Coltrane back when he was really popular the first time.

Now playing

Don’t forget Chrysler’s efforts on the Homefront:

Yup. The F150 is a beater workhorse with the old Ford 300 I6. The original owner stiffened it up and it’s great when I need it (I can milk 17-20mpg out of it too).

That’s exactly how my 88 F150 feels when you hit a milt bump mid turn. That’s what I get for buying a truc set up for max towing and hauling.

Where is the market for a $60k Camaro? Yet alone trying to sell it on Craigslist?

It’s a neat idea... BUT the whole isn’t worth the sum of the parts.
