But some unicorns are more retro than others

Ahh, the simpler times when Toyota sole the Truck, Van and “the car” aka Corolla.

Pretty sure it was some sort of “stupid Americans” joke.

Well right now they would be a mess...

Congrats Acura, you have successfully predicted the...

I would love a Niva 4x4 as there is a lot of off reading around here it would be perfect for. Heck, I CAN get a hold of JDM mini-trucks and legally license them as an on road ATV (wonder if I can get an OHV tag for one?) here on Idaho.

IIRC Uncle Rico had a high top Dodge. Lol. Then again, that movie wasn't shot too far away...

I like this feature. Here is the partial literature I have for the van project I’m working on

Here’s one for ya. In Idaho, you can register Imported JDM Kei trucks as an on road ATV, complete with comically tiny plates

Now playing

One of the interesting things about Motorweek is that they don’t say bad things about cars, so let’s see them compare a Yuho to a Gen 1 Hyundai Excel:

People often muse about how Skynet got started.... This sounds a lot like that turning point.

Well t wasn’t there when they did electric at Isle of Man TT and Pikes Peak, but it has caught up due to the racing.

My wife’s cousin paints farm equipment, so mine will probably get sprayed Ford Tractor Gray.

I kind of wish they would resurrect Class B, but make it an experimental Class E: All else tic with individual wheel motors. It would keep some costs down by having no real drivetrain, though some pretty fancy computer software could make foninteresting traction control, not to mention adjustable regen.

I had thought most didn't run this setup, but it makes sense for privateers at lower tiers. Maintenance isn't really expensive and one you put on all poly bushings, I imagine it's a pretty stout setup.

Wait, this isn’t normal?

Nice! Mine shows 43,000 on it and I’m banking on the being 143k, but it could be 243k.

I agree there. I suppose some fleets have use for a large gas engine.
