Heck, my 07 Scion xA is 1.5L and all of 103HP, but way cooler because no ESP or TC! Lol

I can't get past thinking how dangerous motorcycles would be if we had long tails. Especially bikes with knobbies and no chain guards.

A ‘56 Ford will not be fast nor handle well at all... And that’s assuming it’s modeled on a showroom perfect one.

My solid axle just got lots of love over the summer: new axle seals, rear wheel cylinders and a fluid change.

My 77 Volvo 244 got rear ended one at about 20mph. The bumper absorbed the shot and popped back in place.

Perhaps not the best, but probably the most recognizable to Americans: F-150

244/245 DL. Mine looked like this when mom and dad bought it new in 77. That car got my sister and I through HS and me through college... Finally kicking the bucket in 2003. It was probably just a fuel pump, but with 200,000+ miles, my then new wife said it had to go.

Ahh John Force... The master of Stream of Conciousness thought. Absolutely great guy though. Remember meeting him as a kid and having a nice long rambling conversation with him and my dad.

Agreed. ThI Jeep 4.0 and Ford 300/4.9 Inline 6s are great motors for off road use. My 2wd F150 has the 4.9 and 3.55s in the rear and it’ll idle along all day long.

The bearings on the water pump went south on my 1995 Sable. Note that the power steering pump is practically touching the frame rail... The water pump was somewhere below that. Took a few days to figure that puzzle out, then managed to pull a stud out of the block due to a seized bolt making life even harder on myself.

Is the Attitude Indicator standard or optional? I like it in all its full manual J. C. Whitney catalog glory.

So is the next one going to have the Cummins? That would be one crazy drift car.

Actually Buhl, ID. So there are at least 2 people in the UA that are THAT nuts.

Someone on a back road around town there is a jacked up Fiat X1/9. I need to find not again and get a good pic.

I can get 14-14.5 MPG with this ‘79 GMC Comversion van in the 60-65MPH range. It has the 6.6L (400CID) small block with a 4 barrel carb and 3-speed non-lockup automatic.

I like road courses.

Sometimes you just can’t beat comfort...
