You know what else can do a wheelie?

‘79 GMC Conversion Van

GM 400CID Gen 1 small block running through true dual exhaust with some sort of glass packs. It's your basic redneck special exhaust (true redneck style would exit right after the glass pack)

I prefer old school Homda “scooters” with the High/Low gearbox. Not the fastest, but dang near unstoppable (and light enough to muscle around if it gets stuck)

I would put line wrenches on the list. Nobody ever has them and using regular wrenches can easily strip brake hardware.

Love the car but I’m not feeling it. Guess I’ve been spoiled by American Iron

Wait does that mean I’m no longer driving the official vehicle of freaks and weirdos?

True.

I would imagine the turnoff also allow for much better torque. Combine that with 6 and 7 speed transmissions an you have a small displacement with enough torque for tall gearing.

My 2006 Scion xA 5-speed pulls in a regular 33MPG and I don’t baby it. I can get 35-37 from time to time if I try hard.

I seem to remember the biggest issue was improper torque on the head bolts leading to head gasket failure.

Well.. We got that Aztek tent attachment.

Can I have the 7M-GTE and 5-speed whe you do the LS swap? I'll come pick it up. Have a few ideas of what I could do with that drivetrain.

Aww dang, they got the hood opening wrong! (Expected though)

In case of side impact, and injuries would potentially be iced at least.

Let me introduce you to the Pontiac Stinger...

Get rid of the red cylinder heads and brake calipers and that's a straight up Michael Keaton era looking bat cycle.

Wait for the retro 124 Sport Coupé renderings to get posted.....

I believe Astros are even tighter. At some point, GM stuffed a 454 into the G-Van body. Not sure if they redesigned the doghouse to fit it.

Not really. The motor sits far enough back that the headers are about floor level (wait that makes it a Front model engine like an old school RX-7)
