I’d take it to the testing station and get a new sticker. If they won’t test it, I would refuse to move it.

I’ve never seen it outside of these videos. It’s probably locked away in a GM warehouse somewhere, like so many of the other great concepts. I have only seen the twin motor Chevy Citation “Push Me Pull You” outside of official GM sanctioned events though.
Ahh yes the Knight Industries 4000.
I’m guessing it was a derivative of the Grand Am chassis. Since it was a concept, it could have been a scratch-built chassis though. Even if it were the grand Am chassis, it would be modified a lot for the AWD system and the pneumatic multi-position suspension (fancy name for air bags with onboard compressor).
Absolutely. Te 302 is a pretty good motor to build up. The 300... Change the oil, load it down and pull the world... slowly but surely it will pull... Emphasis on SLOWLY.
Looked up the network and I could do the trip on 2 stops (maybe 3). The longest stretch is 200 miles which should be fine.
Make the trip at least twice a year.
Too much for a nom-collectible vehicle. Now if it had the inline 6 then maybe it might be more interesting
Pulling probably isn’t the issue. I’m guessing that stopping about 11,000lns (Once it’s filled with people and stuff) might generate a lot of heat in the regenerative braking system.
My parents are 532 miles away, so no electric is making the trip anytime soon, but I wouldnt expect it.
Pretty sure someone could tidy up the interior materials and paint color and sell this thing today (perhaps more than a 3 speed auto though)
I love the whole “the seats fold back so you can sleep in it” feature. It is simply cost cutting by removing a component to limit the recline angle.
I think of the Subaru when I think 80s. This is as 1993 as Hypercolor and “Saved By the Bell”
Its AI... autocorrect is inventing new words for us.
Not with the cooler detached or the rear seats in the raised position. That flashlight though; looks remarkable similar to a fleshlight.
In his best Phil Hartman deadpan impression no less...
Same design team.. Just 10 years later and a more muted color scheme.
The problem was that Toyota listened to the “focus groups” saying they wanted more power. The 2nd gen is basically a tall Camry.I wanted a 1sr gen xB really bad, but we had just bought an Cho and I couldn’t afford another car. When our Echo got totallyes, I looked, but got a screaming deal on an xA with the 5speed.…
