Speed Racer continues to be one of my favorite movies of all time.

Am I the only person here who thought Speed Racer was amazing?

Holy god, I use to own that as a kid. Talk about some hardcore nostalgia out of no where!

Their was a moment in the first movie that gave me pause. That told me this movie and series had potential if it wasn’t for all the other extraneous crap that filled it. That scene was the elevator where they all start jammin like idiot brothers right before the big fight.

The nerf wasn’t really a big deal. It just takes a little longer for him to respawn is all. None of his stuff got changed while he’s alive (except for a debuff to building damage with his swing).
