This topic reminds me of how we're supposed to eat less, in order to lose weight and live a healthier kind of life.

Actually this is a truly serious answer. I can't quite decide between a bowl of branflakes or a pizza pop. One promises better health, the other, a quick and easy good time for the taste buds. :)

Selecting sizes isn't the problem... I can always resize later if I have to... Finding something I like, that's the hard part.

This has yet to let me down. I unblock their js, long enough to get what I want to read. Then I apply a readable bookmarklet, because NYT's design is the standard msm approach to page readability.... i.e. sh*t.
