@fjpoblam: This is what happens when factional infighting goes truly wrong for me, when there's only one person in the room. :)

@MacAttack: Windows is double awesome! When are you macaloids going to get that maximize thing working right??? Hah! Take that! :)
@Mr_Robertson: I have meds, to counteract you. :)
@Seeräuber Jenny: @ThatGeek: @mcnerneyd: Hmmm...... I feel this song coming on
@r3loaded: I totally agree. Error (404) My sentiments exactly! :-)
@histrion: is there any hope to the notion that humankind can reach any sort of consensus on anything any more?
@crazyhorse13: Also, I think there has to be a willingness to give way, on one person's part or on the other's, preferably both. Somebody has to be first to put down the weapon, or in this case, whatever assertion they're packing today. Because tomorrow is always a new day on the internet. A good day to die. …
@Platypus Man: oooooo... sweet! Thanks PM!
Somebody out there is going to try it. I can feel it. :)
One thing I wouldn't mind, is if Preview could show a non standard file type that has a program associated with it. I have a whole pile of sticky notes with .stky for extensions. I suppose I could just rename them to .txt because that's all they contain. No big deal, just that the more I get, the more I want. …
Thanks Whitson. This one's heading for my Win7 machine, so's I can play with it. I'm probably going to have to load up on the later version of .Net while I'm at it.
@John Crane: I suspect that the hands get used to having it one way or the other. If you've gone for years without them, there would be an adjustment, and maybe not a comfortable one, and the other way around. I'm not even sure which way is ultimately better for my hands, just that I got used to the feet being out.
@ct323i: That appears to be my problem as well, except the spaces are even narrower. I'd have to go for a smaller size of clip but I have nothing here at home.
@Rolf Swart: Dying would count but that's more of a one time thing.
I'm actually relieved! I thought I might get booted from the thread for that comment. I might have deserved it, had it happened that way. I had a worse fear though. To me, a joke left untold can be like a beautiful maiden left unrescued— unthinkable— inconceivable!! :)

I'm wondering which will give out first in my microwave... the bread, or the mold. Hope it's the mold. :)
ohhh...... oh god.. ohh
I don't mean to sound sappy or syrupy, but I think anybody who sticks around Lifehacker is pretty cool, and cannot be out-cooled.
I think we might want to consider that the success of mp3, ogg, aac, or any lossy audio format, largely depends on people's frenetic lives. If we had the attention to spare, if the internet didn't have this restless atmosphere, we'd notice more, and lossy would be history.
