I'm with you on this, the AC not working is a deal breaker every time.  I can't be showing up to work all drenched in sweat, it gets really hot here.

Yes, tie rod end failure can be totally catastrophic, depending on how fast you are going when it happens.  Don't go around with bad tie rod ends.

You clearly have never owned a Paseo.

Here’s an artist’s rendering of a suspect...

Everyone was really cool the day I was there.  (I think it was the same day Torch was there 3/22)  I caught up to cars a couple of times and people gladly pulled over to let me go around.  I am not used to other drivers doing this, but at this location people know what you are there for.

Were you by chance on the tail March 22nd?  I saw a GLI or 2 there that day, I had my Giulia there.  It was the perfect way to spend a beautiful day in the Smokey mountains of eastern TN.

This is why we have both chocolate and vanilla ice cream, so we can choose what flavor we like and have all we want of our favorite flavor.  What we don't need is chocolate lovers complaining about how vanilla doesn't taste good.  If you don't like it, don't buy it.

You aren't in the minority.  Loads of people love the VQ sound.

So... Mr. Big is Bud Good?

Using a smart watch will in no way save your phone battery, unless it isn't connected to your phone via Bluetooth.  In that case you wouldn't be using the watch to check your notifications or messages, so you wouldn't really need a smart watch at all.

If you're lucky enough to find one with a manual it might be reliable, otherwise you are stuck with a doomed to fail cvt.

I respectfully disagree, being owned by a particular manufacturer does not make it the same thing, it’s just owned and controlled by the same people.  They are still different brands, manufactured in different plants, and the products bear little resemblance to each other.

Go ahead and name some of those shared parts if you like, I haven't found mention of any between Fiat and Alfa Romeo.

It’s a Fiat in the same way that a Lamborghini is a Volkswagen.

Did you think this article was about a Fiat?  That's a different Italian manufacturer.

Yeah, I saw that movie too... "Fra gee lay - it must be Italian!"

I actually had the auto braking system activate once on the highway when traffic came to a sudden stop.  I was already on the brakes, hard enough to avoid hitting the car in front, but the car didn't agree with that assessment.  It panic stopped us so hard that the car behind me wasn't able to stop in time.  They did

Sure they were, so they could lowball you on your trade.

My son works at a job 1 mile away from the house.  I tell him he needs to warm the car up first or at least after he arrives because 1 mile isn’t enough time to bring the car to operating temperature.  Isn’t it much worse to make frequent short trips when the car is never fully warmed up?

I am 6 months into a lease of a similar 2017 and I can tell you from experience that these cars aren't as unreliable as you think.  Did they have an unusual number of initial quality issues for a new model?  Yes.  Once you get those sorted out what you are left with is a great car.  Reliability won't truly be known
