The problem lies in the fact that the most desirable cars are considered realistically out of reach of young people. I felt this way for a long time, and only in my late 30's began to realize that cars I want to drive aren't so out of reach. Lots of them still are, but many are not so out there any more.

Kind of resembles a '92-'02 Eldorado.

Even though I don't live in the snow belt, I would not have a RWD car as my only car. That's why I got an AWD vehicle for a DD, and why I can have a RWD car as my weekend car.

no, you aren't horrible, it's annoying. The fact that people do this takes away from the content, whatever it is. It's like someone handing you some binoculars that have all but a thin vertical stripe painted over on the lens .

#9 is not correct. The other way to lose a mirror is to have it sheared off by someone else who wasn't looking where they were going.

What is it really that makes you dislike the sound of the VQ? Is it that you don't like Nissan in general? Is it the fanboy mentality of the people who do like them? The VQ sound itself I really enjoy. I guess some people like chocolate and some like vanilla...

Totally not true. I park my DD in the garage because I don't want my family to get wet when it's raining. My weekend car *WHICH I ABSOLUTELY LOVE* unfortunately has to sit out in the driveway. My next house will have room in the garage for 2 cars. I would prefer the weekend car over the DD by the way, it's a newer

Having the car, or something off of it like the wheels stolen is my worst nightmare. For this reason (and for home security) I set up a USB camera in my front window that records any movement around it. Had you done this you would see exactly what happened to it and have a pretty good idea where it is now. Just

The last car I had with manual crank windows had a mechanical window failure on the front driver side window. If you tried to roll it down the window took a nose dive and got stuck that way. It was a real PITA to get it to seal back up if you did that. This was on a '85 toyota camry too.

Unfortunately they have those priced just out of my reach, and the older ones are holding their value pretty well... There are a lot of nice cars coming out soon to lust after though, that concept WRX is sweet. I think that HND-9 is pretty sweet too, they need to make that the next genesis coupe.

The altima coupe totally was. Since its inception it has been referred to as the poor man's G35, Hence why I bought one. Then I grew up and traded it in on a G37 coupe :)

The roofline of the car resembles the roofline of the G37 coupe. I like it.

Think of it like a throttle in a boat or a jet, you would ease back to slow down either of these.

You are thinking in terms of the car moving you, not you moving the car. just like riding a horse or a segway, it is more natural to lean back to slow down, or pull back on the reins to slow a horse. likewise, I want to push forward to speed up. Maybe it comes from years of playing video games with a joystick.

apparently in race cars you pull back to upshift, as stated above in the article.

To me, Forward for upshits and backward for downshifts makes complete sense. Of course, I've never driven a racecar. If most car manufacturers agree, I would say they are right when it comes to something that is really just a matter of preference.

Oh yeah, handing keys over to a teenager is a pretty good way to get them lost and god knows what else may happen to the car.

Wouldn't it be less likely to get lost if she never has to take it out of the purse? I'm not sure how being a smart key has any more risk of getting lost than any other kind of key, I guess that was my point.

Aside from that, these guys are just getting old, and out of touch with what many people appreciate about modern cars. Sometimes they comment about styling of certain models and I'm like.... OK I couldn't disagree with that more. I agree with them on a lot of things, hell I'm getting on a bit myself. I guess a lot

Clearly they are trolling all of you save the manuals enthusiasts. Successfully I might add.
