That must have been a really big tree to cause that kind of damage. The roof and pillar structure is so strong on these things.

But does it Baja?

I couldn't find the video, but here are a couple of samples:

Magura. Before discs, they were the ultimate brake. Many bike trials riders still use them to this. They were popular on Tandems due to the stopping power. Though rim sidewall blowouts due to wear were more likely.

OK, looks like it may be a safety issue. That should be addressed.

Maybe apply the brakes a little beforehand?

Looks better too. I never liked the split nostrils on the WS6. It was my dream car for a few years.

I am referring to the two timing gears:

Even out of focus this engine is amazing to look at.

That is the exact moment when I would have put a new crease in my seat!

As another poster mentioned, the suspension is just dialed on this car. It had the ability to land this bump while also being able to keep the car planted to the ground while driving. Not even a hint of wheel hop.

Organization is key. For some people it takes more effort than others. If you think about the engine and the function of every piece, it is surprisingly simple.

So every time "authorities" on racing make such comments, especially considering Danica's history as you well summarized, it discredits the these "authorities". Since the people who

The fun continues even after the crash with calls of "get out!" In a situation like that, unless I see visible flames, I'm keeping a steel cage around me.

Great post! Thanks for taking the time to write it. I have been on the fence about joining a chump/le mons team. This is pushing to the side of doing it.

Forgot one:

I'd have to disagree. The cyclists in the videos have no excuse for the way they were riding. I'm also not saying that cyclists should be allowed to run red lights. What I'm saying is that it is not as simple as "Driver/Vehicle" makes it out to be. Semi trucks obey different laws. Different states have different laws

+ what looks to be a ridiculously monstrous turbo. That would explain the lack of an intercooler as the turbo probably doesn't spool up enough to create enough pressure to need an IC.

As the image shows, it's about the children, not about wedging your land barge into a space labeled compact.
