What if it is the car and not the driver? Look at what Checo has been able to do at Red Bull. What if there is something about the Alpine car that is different and suits Daniel better then the Mac?

Stealth!

How did this get posted on Friday and yet there are only six comments!? This is unacceptable behavior and Tesla and individual managers should be held accountable.

Thanks for the reporting Brad. I’m excited to see how this drops.

I worked at Faraday Bikes where we pushed hard to make our bikes look good. Lemond has made one of the first Ebikes I’ve seen that I will buy when my Faraday finally dies.

My first reaction was SHHHH!!!!!

Rock on Brad!!! Reminds me of working on your timing on the Yellow beast on the side of the road with JC!

Slow down there...you don’t want a riot on his hands do you? The people are just not ready: Rite of Spring

I first heard about this road coarse and the dangers through reading Bill Milliken’s book. My 2yo was interested din what I was reading and I showed him the pictures in the book. There were many like this:

I saw an Apollo in person. I had to loop around to get a better look at it. It shocked me that it was Domestic and made here locally in the Bay Area, Oakland to be precise. They sell for over $100k but looking at them, it seems worth it:

Thanks Brad! I’m looking forward to Eddyville this series. It’s kind of like when I first started riding except I was the only one in a $1k bike. Made for great stories at least.

Adding this comment just in the case that it helps SEO promote this article.

i always appreciate your perspective Robb. thanks for the solid review.

Dammit Brad I begrudgingly logged in just to comment:

I’m a 9/8 sized person, who is tired of riding 7/8 sized bikes. I love the 401-Pilens but would rather have the 701 size with the 401 engine. For my purposes, it has plenty of grunt.

You in that Jag flying through that field is probably my favorite photo ever posted on Jalopnik.

Best PC800 story ever written:

Glad to see Mercedes acknowledges the problem and is solving it the best way they know how. It’s work that is inherently unfair, does not have a simple resolution, and whose target and tactics shift as more is learned. I hope they can keep up the momentum and I look forward to future updates.

Raph is learning and geeking out, give the guy some slack. Especially when saying your chain should “never” be at an angle. They are designed for this up to a point. Otherwise were never be able to shift gears.
