I find myself stuck in research loops, I keep waiting as there is always something with a few more features for same price/same product for less in the future, and so making the leap to actuall buy things is hard for me, which i suppose is a good thing, but I often pay only a bit less for something I could have had a

frankfurt airport has an entire first class TERMINAL just for first class Lufthansa flyers, apparently it gets around 300 people through it a day, and thats with 200 members of staff, it sounds an amazing place, and I want to find the cheapest way of getting into there

I Live in the UK, am learning to drive at the moment, but I never realised we have a "reputation" for cheap 2nd hand cars, is this just within europe, or is it more globally? I am looking at potential cars to get once (if) I pass my test now

LA confidential is a film I can keep watching, though probably not cheerful enough to be my happy place film...apparently theres a band called "rolo tomassi" now, i saw it mentioned on facebook, assumed they meant the film, and seemed to have no idea what the film was...for a 24 year old that made me feel quite old

The first pirates of the carribean film, and treating it as the ONLY pirates movie, not to say I don't like the others, but it all ties up rather well, and is just good fun
Also, the latest muppet film, and forgetting sarah marshall are both films I can just sit and relax to

Agree with all of it, and while I felt it was a bit cheap that they showed the library and swimming pool (mentioned since ep 1 of matt smiths reign) i was a bit dissapointed they actually went and showed it, it just felt cheap to me, if they'd shown the end scene with clara in bathing costume and towel, but didn't

I feel like Dr Who is stuck with dan brown syndrome at the moment, where every episode has to be BIG, and DEEP and DARK (without actually being that dark) meaning the episode has to end on something that wraps everything together so neatly, eloquently, and gives a satisfying conclusion to the events, and the writers

I commented on the AoM article, but have yet to get a reply, so will ask here too if thats okay
I'm visiting the USA for a month (leave in 3 weeks) and want to buy some good quality affordable US clothes while out there (levi's cost around $100 dollars in the uk) and was wondering if anyone had any tips on what sort

i wonder if nintendo will ever revive the game boy name, I've always thought a device like the gb micro (which has minish cap inside constantly, and is basically the best travel companino ever) but download only, and set up with a store so you could download snes and nes (and wiiware-esque) games would be just

I read the first line of that comment, and instantly assumed you were one of those spambots, sorry for that

hmmm...4chan has always had an odd relationship with child pedophilia, so while i don't think that many people are gonna be on the other side of this issue, still wouldn't say 4chan (who i guess i consider analogous to anonymous, though maybe that's just stereotype) have the best record on things like this

awaiting the new kinja system (giz is i think the last of the gawker brand not to implement it, probably because you can't delete comments as easily)

still there if you use the kinja system (giz still hasn't fully implemented this) really does seem inapropriate on andrews part to delete any constructing conversation going on in the comments because it may make him look bad

this seems incredibly egotistical to delete anyones comment like this, though once gizmodo fully updates to the new kinja system, i think deleting comments is harder(?) i wonder if thats why gizmodo is the last one still holding out? it does seem weird for the technology blog of gawker to be the one using the oldest

I'd be carefull, someone else mentioned that, the author replied snarkily, and then deleted the whole comment thread

unsure about on a busy street, but I'm currently learning to drive at the moment in the UK (where the infographic is "set") and was told that you are only supposed to reverse parallel park, as the front wheels steer, you can tightly angle into a spot reversing, which you can't do going forwards. but thats the UK,

this has already answered a "why", women SF authors are alot less heard of than men, why is that? well acording to the data reviewers just aren't reviewing them, probably the main thing stopping them getting to the mainstream (yes this probably could have been guessed anecdotally without the charts, but having the
