To get to the source, you have to go deeper.

We have nukes now but don't use them on first strikes. By your own logic, they don't want to use it while they have people and equipment in the line of fire, but when your people are all the planet (probably wanted them to take the equipment too) then there's really nothing stopping you from raining down from above

Jack in the Box is a pretty big deal in Texas. There's nothing like grabbing a Jumbo Jack and two tacos at 2am. Food of the Gods.

Gizmodo isn't a fan of contrast ratios since the numbers provided by manufacturers are purely advertisement fluff.

21:9 tv's have been featured at CES for at least two years. They've been slow to release it in the US though Europe already has them. They've never released pricing or release date in previous years so I've got some hope we'll see them on shelves soon. I just hope prices drop soon.

I think this is the first 21:9 model being offered in the US. I'm super stokes but will have to wait until prices are a little more reasonable before picking one up.

Patagonia is big beyond words. It's not a park and it would be extremely difficult to police the entire thing especially since it's split between two countries (though the few remaining glaciers are on the Chilean side).

But how does it compare to the iPhone 4S on LT..... oooh, that's right.

I'm not aware of any cheaper options and I'm not entirely sure they would work with this app.

Correct, I've started and stopped several cabinet projects but I haven't seen one for an iPad cabinet similar to iCade.

That's why he keeps mentioning the iCade, which is a little expensive for my taste but very hard to resist now that this app is out. Give it a couple of weeks and someone will eventually come out with an Instructable to build your own cabinet.

It emulates arcade games only. SNES (or any other game console) roms will not work with this.

Funny thing is I spent a small portion of the morning trying to update mine after reading the Giz article saying the update it out and difficult to install. I couldn't get mine to say there's an update no matter what I did and then I finally went to Amazon's site and noticed the version I have on my Fire is the one

That's an interesting question though I don't remember using an iPad1 enough to answer. Only caveat is that you can't find an iPad1 new anymore, only refurbished ones and even then, it's still considerably more than $200.

Yeah, it doesn't make sense to password protect wifi because some apps need wifi to work.

Yeah, I was laughing at Nook owners initially but now we're in the same boat? I hope someone figures out a way to attach additional storage through the micro-USB port. The lack of an SD-slot is disappointing.

Normally, you can initiate an update if you click on Settings (gear icon), More, Device and the click on the "Update your Kindle" button in the System Version section. Mine is greyed out so I can force it to update. My guess is the Fire won't trigger the update until your battery is full.

Hey Giz, nice of you to put a link to the story at the end of the story instead of a link to Amazon.

Are you sure they aren't simply astroids being hurled at us from Klendathu?

Well played, my friend. Well played.
