I think he's mainly referring to the Super Bowl commercials which has somehow become an event all of its own. When we get together with our friends, it's like two events alternating: the guys watching the game and the women watching the commercials.

I'll see your Hyabusa and raise you a bump in the road or cold, rainy conditions.

I pre-ordered mine and have been using it on a nearly daily basis and I have very few complaints. Like any new interface, it takes a little getting used to but now I don't really miss the physical buttons. Granted, I didn't root my device, but I guess I was one of the fortunate ones who didn't experience any of the

Wait, did you just misread my original statement and then pull out the soapbox? Well done? I didn't blame eBay for shipping and sales tax. I stated that eBay and Payapl took their enormous cuts and I ended up with $30 profit. I also didn't realize there were guidelines for legitimacy when making a comment. I'll

Amazon still has the Canon PowerShot ELPH 310 HS for $200. They ahd it on sale last week for all colors but it looks like they just have pink and purple at this price. It's a 12MP CMOS sensor and I think a better deal than the S95.

Sorry, the auction closed at $170, not $180. I need to stop drinking while surfing at work.

eBay charges 9%, then Paypal charges their fee to handle your payment and they're owned by eBay. Paypal has a whole different scheme going on too. It took me ~2 weeks to get my money from them just because they hold the payment until the package is nearly recevied and then it takes several days for them to deposit

While picking up a LeapPad for my boss (to give to his neice) I managed to snag an extra one and decided to toss it onto eBay to see what'll happen. People are paying $160-220 for these $100 LeapPads. It's absolutely ridiculous. The auction started at $0.99 and managed to hit $180. Problem is eBay and Paypal took

It's a Festivus miracle!

My desktop is too old and isn't worth the cost to upgrade the hardware to be able to run Win7. Also, it's crammed full of "evaluation" software and I'm pretty sure most of it would break during the upgrade process.

I would like to see more iPhone docks include a line level output. I don't see many on the market now.

Just a head's up, Amazon has Tetris for Andoird on sale for only $0.10.

that game was the end all, be all back in its day.

Great concept, but you would have to basically keep your phone plugged into a charger because constant streaming would likely reduce the already short batter life of most smartphones. I can barely make it through a whole day on a full charge with my iPhone and I'm not streaming that much.

I only quickly read the article but it said that they're not shipping any more out and canceling pending orders so you may have a hard time buying one now to try and get a refund.

Looks like the four bamboo pieces framing the Fire are tabbed but I don't know if maybe one or all of them have a way to flex a little for you to slide (or wedge) the tablet into it. Either way, I'd say it's those bamboo pieces holding it into place. I like that they also included a "channel" for the sound to travel

It still blows my mind that tv manufacturers haven't adapted to match the ratio that films are produced in. Make it all one standard ratio (including tv shows and live broadcasts) and be done with it.

I think sideloading is my new best friend. Thanks for the tip.

I don't want to go down the whole rooting road like I did with jailbreaking my iPhone, especially since Amazon is auto-updating them even when they're in sleep mode. The cat & mouse game gets a little old after a several years. Now, I just want to buy a product and use it without turning it into a tech demo.

And it's moments like these when I wish Amazon would let you access the Android Market with the Kindle Fire.
