Also worth mentioning: transfers bus-train-bus in the same direction for two hours are free, so if you have a multileg journey, it’s still 1.75 for the whole trip. Unless you’re traveling at four different times during the day, the day pass isn’t really worth it.

Yes, it covers every bus and train operated by Metro, but not the municipal transit services which are operated by individual cities (but many of them will accept the same TAP card, you just need to put their own specific fare on it).
