One of the few shows I’m willing to pay for. I’m really looking forward to the new season. Too bad there hasn’t been much written about it here.

I was excited util I saw “EA”.
I’m happy we get season 5. I’m happy the writers know this is it so they can create a satisfying end (I trust the writers can do this). I’m less happy they decided to go the ‘Decker-Lucifer-in-love’ way. This could have been so much more than the typical opposites-attract thing. Decker and Lucifer as friends, with…
I think that was on purpose - in case season 5 didn’t happen. They didn’t want to leave the fans hanging. Though there are still some plot-lines which could use tying up.
yes. I’d rather a planned ending too.
Clancy Brown you say? Hmmm, Yes, I think I’m with you on this.
I’ve never understood the hate for the show’s end. Sam was told he could keep helping - and he chose to keep helping. He was a nice guy, what did you expect?
you forgot the sub-set of shows which are police procedurals where the protagonist would be in a seven-season will-they-won’t-they relationship that gets canceled on a cliffhanger at the end of season 3 or 4. (and the further sub-set of shows...which then get revived on “another network”) :-)
I forgot about the dog! (the rest feels very Bellisario - and the theme music sounds like Quantum Leap...)
you watched the commercials? I thought the whole point of having a remote was to randomly change the channel to avoid watching a commercial in it’s entirety.
not so much stop messing with my childhood but DO SOMETHING NEW! I’m bored with reboots and dragging an IP on and on until its nothing but tatters and dust. You want more ‘Indiana Jones’ - fine, how about some new archaeologist-character, with a different personality? Send them out to find treasure and battle the bad…
Tales of the Golden Monkey! I loved that show as a kid. I have no memory of anything in the show aside from the plane landing on water and the main character having malaria. But I do recall waiting eagerly each week for a new episode.
KOTOR 3 - YES! Please!!
“My friend, however, thinks this game is his overall favorite game he has ever played and would be disappointed, probably, if the movie does not follow the story very closely.”
agreed. I love KOTOR but I don’t need a movie version because it will never be “my” version of the story. A movie set in that time might be fun.
I loved KOTOR - but I’m not sue a movie will work for the same reasons you mention. My memories of the game will never match what ends up on the screen. I would prefer new single-player games in the same universe.
are you calling HK-47 “plucky”, meatbag? :-)
perfect just perfect. I’m using ‘Sir (or Madame), this is an Arby’s’ as my default reply from now on.
were Tony and Bruce experts? They had theories, sure. But I don’t they they were experts. Dr. Strange was the expert - but he was gone. Shuri might have found a hole in their logic, but she was dusted.
It’s likely there is something in his contract which states he can be fired if he does/says anything disney finds offensive. Which is problematic (to me) as well, but I didn’t sign the contract... That said, I’m not sure the “moral turpitude” clause should be allowed to include things which happened in the past, were…
