Gunn has grown as a person and wants to be better. disney doesn’t seem to have grown as much (and, if corporations can be ‘people’ then disney should be expected to grow up too).

I’m not sure I believe the characters knew what they were talking about :-)

or C: going back in time and living however he lived, was PART of what was needed to create the world in which the 1 chance to defeat Thanos could happen.

how do you know Cap wasn’t involved in Civil Rights or Vietnam? I don’t think they had time to go into his entire ‘other’ life. He might have been key in shaping the world.

“The issue is that the film doesn’t really offer any explanations for how Captain America’s time travel works. In order for that to make sense, the filmmakers have to offer up explanations after the fact”

“Let’s not make the mistake of saying the only way to effectively include a minority character in a story is to give them a happy ending.”

Klyden - as annoying and frustrating as he is - is essential to the show. Irritants are needed to keep the tension up. Klyden is a great irritant. (also (I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again) eating the cigarette was just hysterical)

heh. Orville used to be my guilty pleasure. But after this past season, it’s just a pleasure.

well, we’ll find out today what sort of season it will be. (of course, life has decreed I can’t start watching till FRIDAY!)

I’d forgotten about her ‘imaginary friend’ - Ella is one of the few overtly religious characters who isn’t annoyingly pushy with her beliefs. She deserved more depth in the re-cap

Chloe/Lucifer seems to work best when they’re being friends rather than potential lovers. I wish they’d go back to Lucifer playing the field.

Sorry. Nothing stands out now. My first play-through I felt some of the little things Blackwall said didn’t seem to fit with what I remembered of the lore. But subsequent play-throughs have ‘explained’ any inconsistencies as ‘Blackwall doesn’t know what he’s talking about...’

having Klyden grow a bit through the season would keep the character fresh and still allow for him to revert to ‘jackass-persona’ from time to time.

I don’t know... Klyden seems very traditional - the traditional method of divorce is killing one’s partner... (and the show has been there, done that). I don’t think Klyden COULD just leave, I don’t think it would occur to him. If it did, that would mean HE’s been changed by living among other species, and I’m not

I could live without a musical episode. But if that is what it takes to get renewed...

I can’t stand Klyden - but I think the show should keep him. You need a jackass to keep making trouble for the likable characters, keeps the tension levels up which is great in fiction (not so much in real life...)

Blackwall and Sera have some really funny conversations.

I didn’t LOVE the game on my first play-through. But it grew on me. I like the story enough I can forgive the dull play.

Varric is taken. He will never cheat on Bianca.

Spring may have returned fairly quickly after it was ‘rolled back’. Actual weather can be weird - with massive temperature changes from day to fay in the spring (at least it happens like that in New England). So a few days of odd weather might be easily forgotten
