I’m hoping Mad Sweeney comes back. And, yes, the cycles of death-rebirth do bode well for him.

running over the avatars of a goddess is rather abusive toward her hospitality...
there are several triple-gods/goddesses. I wondered about the Celtic trio, Morrigan: Badb, Macha, and Nemain - war goddesses, they sometimes show up on the battlefield on the side of the winner...
“Even the car was sacrificed for Wednesday (though it got better)“
No idea :-)
if you buy anything your data is worth monetizing. Advertisers want to sell you things, knowing your preferences means they can customize ads so that you’re more likely to buy their widget than you are to buy their competitor’s widget.
seems like some sort of computing machine would be an easy way to sort out one voice from millions...
buttons! OMG! a button I have to PUSH! That is far too much work. Sigh. ‘Alexa, order me a couch so I can flop dramatically onto it in protest of buttons’
Is this where the wiretapping/privacy laws would come into play? If someone is recorded in your home without their prior consent - that’s technically illegal, no? Granted - the chances that something recorded in your home without consent would be prosecuted are slim (unless your visiting aunt is really vindictive).
I’m treating the comics and the show as two completely different takes on Lucifer. I enjoy both - but they seem to have different basic assumptions on the world.
Point!
I’m not convinced that ONLY Ed/Kelly could have convinced the Krill to help - the Kaylon would have wiped out the Krill along with everyone else, fighting a common enemy might not have been too hard a sell.
ha! Yeah, I kinda wanted her to put on a jacket and give the (weirdly uneven) cleavage a rest. One should not have to worry about popping out of one’s shirt while saving the galaxy.
Kelly saying ‘yes’ to a second date changed the timeline so that Doctor Claire never had to go back to the past (the timeline where Kelly remembers the future never happened, the invasion never happened, nothing needed to be ‘fixed’). We’ve re-set to the original timeline.
“Ed and the teacher sharing tips on how to break down her defenses was gross not because it came from a place of, “hey, we both care about her and she really likes this band” but “hey, she’s acting irrational, and here’s the cheat code to make her shut up and fall into bed with you!” “
the music was Star Wars-flavored too
wasn’t it?? I kept thinking that all through the show.
by ‘sprinklers’ do you mean inside fire suppression? That would seem like an obvious need - not like you can run outside if the ship catches on fire. Or did you mean the outside vents? I assumed those allowed the ship to vent atmosphere or liquids should the need arise to flush the ship (toxins, disease etc). “turn on…
Optimistic Orville - reflects the original Star Trek’s vision. And, you’re right, it should remain hopeful.
It bothered me that everyone else looked like they were dressing for survival - Kelly’s costume looked like ‘who’s up for the Apocalypse rave?’. Kelly went through a lot to get the crew back and fix her mistake - the costume didn’t reflect her journey
